The strep test that I got at Wellstar Urgent Care said I had strep throat. I went to Emery St. Joe and Emery University Hospital. They did strep tests and they were negative. So I don't know why two tests said negative, including a strep culture and a strep test at Wellstar Urgent Care said it was positive. But that is concerning.

Dr. Rodriguez is a prince. He's a great guy. He knew exactly what he was doing. He settled me down. He sent pictures to my specialist in urology. I mean, there's nothing that I can think that he could have done other than that, which he did do. So you need to hold on to him. Dr Rodriguez is a gem of a physician (much better than my actual primary care). This is the 2nd time I have seen him at the urgent clinic, and his bedside manner and explanation of treatment options/medicines is outstanding. Also, the check-in staff and nurses have all been beyond wonderful.

The doctor sent us to the hospital because he said my dad needed to have blood drawn. I'm never seen a Wellstar urgent care not draw blood and couldn't do x-rays so that was strange to me that they could not treat my dad's foot so they sent us to the hospital.

I love wellstar, this specific location was a different experience. While I do understand going to an urgent care will take time to be seen, I waited over an hour in my room before seeing the doctor. During this time, I could hear someone telling them "be sure to check on all patients waiting 30min or more. We don't want an incident like last night". So I became hopeful of being checked on soon but was not. Again, I understand wait times. I think a check-in would've been nice though as I felt my pain increasing during my wait time.

I had to get a ct scan and the women who did it was completely rude. I asked for her name from the nurse and they said they didn't know her name and refused to give it to me. There's just no reason for her to be rude.

Other staff noticed me looking for the suite numbers and directed me to the specific individual for orthopedic (three desks were on the same side as the suite I was looking for). Dr. Jorge Rodriguez should not handle sports physicals. He signed the form stating my daughter was not medically cleared to try out for sports until seeing an ophthalmologist. As he was leaving the room, he wished her good luck at tryouts knowing he failed her. He could have put on the form she could try out with restrictions on seeing an eye doctor for corrective lenses. He also asked her to do a duck walk which he explained is something football players do (she plays softball) and she was unfamiliar with. He wrote on the form she couldn't easily do a duck walk. She had an eye exam done today, to correct her vision, so for him to make her medically ineligible was unnecessary and a waste of our time. We have been Wellstar patients over 20 years, but I will never visit Wellstar Urgent Care Vinings as long as he's a provider there.

I was prescribed 10 pills. Now that I am done the arthritis is flaring back up. The MD wrote to continue tramadol. I am not on tramadol. I take trazodone for sleep. I was great for about 4 days and now it's back. I am on a nursing travel contract looking for help.

Everyone was great during my visit from the front desk check-in, which I forget her name, to Stephanie to Dr. Rodriguez, to the x-ray technician. Everyone provided great customer service and was just really wonderful. It was a pleasurable experience considering I hurt my hand. Thank you.

I had to get a ct scan and the women who did it was completely rude. I asked for her name from the nurse and they said they didn't know her name and refused to give it to me. There's just no reason for her to be rude.

I waited two hours before I was seen. I got there 10 minutes to 8 and I didn't leave there until 10:20.

I love wellstar, this specific location was a different experience. While I do understand going to an urgent care will take time to be seen, I waited over an hour in my room before seeing the doctor. During this time, I could hear someone telling them "be sure to check on all patients waiting 30min or more. We don't want an incident like last night". So I became hopeful of being checked on soon but was not. Again, I understand wait times. I think a check-in would've been nice though as I felt my pain increasing during my wait time.

The doctor sent us to the hospital because he said my dad needed to have blood drawn. I'm never seen a Wellstar urgent care not draw blood and couldn't do x-rays so that was strange to me that they could not treat my dad's foot so they sent us to the hospital.

Dr Rodriguez is a gem of a physician (much better than my actual primary care). This is the 2nd time I have seen him at the urgent clinic, and his bedside manner and explanation of treatment options/medicines is outstanding. Also, the check-in staff and nurses have all been beyond wonderful.

Dr. Rodriguez is a prince. He's a great guy. He knew exactly what he was doing. He settled me down. He sent pictures to my specialist in urology. I mean, there's nothing that I can think that he could have done other than that, which he did do. So you need to hold on to him. The strep test that I got at Wellstar Urgent Care said I had strep throat. I went to Emery St. Joe and Emery University Hospital. They did strep tests and they were negative. So I don't know why two tests said negative, including a strep culture and a strep test at Wellstar Urgent Care said it was positive. But that is concerning.

I just wanted to add that I don't know if they sanitize their hands. I wasn't paying attention...more concerned about the pain on my shoulder. It was like talking to people instead of some kind of generated robot.
