I Cristina Verlezza, DPM

Dr. Verlezza grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and attended an Italian school. At age 15, she moved to Youngstown, Ohio where she finished high school and attended Youngstown State University. Her doctorate was earned at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Verlezza completed a three-year surgical residency at St. John Providence Hospital in Detroit, Michigan with emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Verlezza is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Foot Surgery.

Dr. Verlezza practices in Marietta (East Cobb), Georgia. She sees all ages from pediatric to seniors. Her areas of special interest are: surgical and medical management of the diabetic foot, elective foot and ankle surgery, treatment of common foot and ankle problems including sport injuries, trauma, deformities, heel pain, bunions, ingrown toenails, and skin conditions among many others.
