Eric Lewkowiez, MD

Dr. Lewkowiez is an assistant professor in the division of Child, Adolescent and Family Psychiatry. He received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina and his master’s in microbiology and immunology from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed a general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship at the University of Colorado. Dr. Lewkowiez came to Augusta University after working in private practice in Columbia, S.C. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and functions primarily as director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry outpatient teaching clinic and medical supervisor to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric consultation/liaison service. He serves on committees for the Georgia Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as well as the Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association.
