Hyunwoo (Sean) Do, M.D., received his medical degree from Yeungnam University College of Medicine in Daegu, South Korea. He completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea, followed by spine fellowship in Neurological Surgery at Harvard University, BIDMC (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center), The Ohio State University, and University of Cincinnati. He also completed general clinical fellowship in Neurological Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, Barnes Jewish Hospital. Dr. Do is board certified in Neurological Surgery by the Korean Neurosurgical Society, holds a Georgia state medical license, and is a member of AANS (American Association of Neurological Surgery), NASS (North American Spine Society), SMISS (Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery), and Korean Neurosurgical Society.

Dr. Do, a highly experienced neurosurgeon, specializes in spine surgery and provides services and treatments for patients ages 10 and up. His expertise includes spinal decompression, spinal fusion, spinal cord stimulator, spinal tumor, spinal and cranial trauma, dynamic reconstruction of the spine, spinal deformity and has a special focus on minimally invasive spine surgery and endoscopic spine surgery. Dr. Do has successfully treated a broad spectrum of spinal disorders, earning a reputation for clinical excellence and high patient satisfaction.

In his spare time, Dr. Do enjoys listening to music, hiking, and walking with his family and dog.

Dr. Do welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

Dr. Post completed his general surgery internship at the University of Vermont Medical Center, his neurosurgery residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, his pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, and his spinal neurosurgery fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He taught at both George Washington University and Virginia Commonwealth University before becoming director of pediatric neurosurgery for Inova Neurosurgery, even serving as co-founder and co-director of the system-wide Inova Concussion Program. After leading the multidisciplinary craniofacial team at Goryeb Children's Hospital in New Jersey, Dr. Post now serves as assistant professor and chief of complex neurosurgical spine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
