Everything that was done was exceptionally well except for the fact that I haven't received any information back to the VA about my appointment. They need to know what's going on. They need to know what's happening because they're the one that's booking my appointment. And I haven't gotten any information from anyone at WellStar sent to the VA for my medical records and for my next steps.

I appreciated the fact that he didn't walk in and immediately want to do surgery on my back! I didn't come looking for surgery either. I wanted some answers on treatment options, because I've read my situation could get severely worse. I'm praying the plan I received will help my back pain and bulging disk.

Check in was easy and front desk staff were very kind. Dr Macomson had already reviewed my scans before I arrived and was very prepared for my visit when I arrived. He listened to my symptoms and did a thorough exam. I'm so glad I chose to come to Augusta for a consult with him.

For the first time in a long time I felt heard and like a human and not judged. I was also in and out super fast. They best care that I've ever received and I'm so thankful for that. I didn't leave feeling unheard and swept under the rug like I have felt with a past surgeon.
