Dr. Brown received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College and earned her medical degree from Howard University Medical School. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, followed by a residency in radiation oncology from Howard University Hospital, Washington Hospital Center Cancer Institute in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Brown is a professional member of the American Brachytherapy Society and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cycling, aerobics and travel.

I would like to be seen in a timely manner, preferably within fifteen minutes. I was there for over two hours! I hope that my future visits will not take as long. Also the parking attendants took a very long time to return my car!

Hi, the only issue I had was how big the marks were that were put on me for the placement of the radiation. It was just a lot larger than I expected. I thought they would be really tiny. That's all. Otherwise, it was a pretty good experience. Thank you.

Once there were difficulties with setting up a new patient which caused my appointment to be very late. A staff member came to me explained the reason for the delay and apologized. When I was taken for treatment the staff there also apologized for the wait. They had taken me early a few times, so I told them that I understood and that it was not a problem. Overall the process has been very professional.

The nurse, Allison, who I saw when I first came, was taken back to my room, was awesome. Her energy was high. She was very energetic. I just loved her. I spent just a couple of minutes with her, but she was awesome. And actually made me have a better day when I finished talking to her. The physician's assistant that I've seen, I've seen her before. Like her so much. She answered all of my questions. She was very thorough about things that I may look out for in the future. It was my last visit with radiology and I was discharged, but she was awesome and great, both of them. Thank you.

I have an issue with the # of times I was contacted regarding this visit. I got calls, texts, many my chart messages. I guess you have a lot of people who don't remember their appointments and maybe that is why the system does this. I consider myself to be a responsible person and it annoying to get constant reminders. Dr. Sheree Brown and her staff are great! She is smart, sweet, and caring and I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!

The nurse, Allison, who I saw when I first came, was taken back to my room, was awesome. Her energy was high. She was very energetic. I just loved her. I spent just a couple of minutes with her, but she was awesome. And actually made me have a better day when I finished talking to her. The physician's assistant that I've seen, I've seen her before. Like her so much. She answered all of my questions. She was very thorough about things that I may look out for in the future. It was my last visit with radiology and I was discharged, but she was awesome and great, both of them. Thank you.

The nurses were extremely kind and helpful and informative. And Dr. Brown, the nurse practitioner, could not have been any nicer or any more helpful. They are wonderful people and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there. They are great. Thank you.

This was my 3 month post check-up and I was excited to see all my care team again! They received me warmly and treated me like an old friend. I value the relationship I grew to have with these special people during my cancer journey. They made the hard, scary days less difficult. God bless these heroes!

Since no one wants to be sick and need radiology treatments- this is not a place people want to visit. But I greatly appreciate the professionalism and kindness that I experienced with the front office staff, nurses, and doctor at this facility.

Hi, the only issue I had was how big the marks were that were put on me for the placement of the radiation. It was just a lot larger than I expected. I thought they would be really tiny. That's all. Otherwise, it was a pretty good experience. Thank you.

Once there were difficulties with setting up a new patient which caused my appointment to be very late. A staff member came to me explained the reason for the delay and apologized. When I was taken for treatment the staff there also apologized for the wait. They had taken me early a few times, so I told them that I understood and that it was not a problem. Overall the process has been very professional.

This was my 2nd course of treatment with Dr. Brown and the office staff and it was once again an excellent experience. Everyone in the office is very kind and Dr. Brown is a wonderful provider. I have complete confidence and trust in this practice. I hope I won't need to return again, but if I need radiology oncology service this is the only place I want to receive my care. The entire staff from front to back is awesome!

I would like to be seen in a timely manner, preferably within fifteen minutes. I was there for over two hours! I hope that my future visits will not take as long. Also the parking attendants took a very long time to return my car!

As the matriarch of her family, Phyliss Davis has always taken care of everyone before herself. Between a busy schedule and devoting time to her granddaughter Wynter, Phyliss made a habit of putting her own health on the back-burner.
Hoping to check another job off her to-do list, she finally squeezed a routine wellness appointment onto her calendar. But when Phyliss’ medical chart showed no recent mammogram, her primary care physician grew concerned.
"When my doctor asked how long it had been since my last mammogram, I didn’t want to admit that I hadn’t had one in years," Phyliss said, remembering how the medical professional urged her to get a breast exam as soon as possible. "Because I didn’t have a family history of breast cancer, I thought I didn’t have to worry."
Luckily, Phyliss came in at just the right time. Her mammogram caught a concerning lump that couldn’t be seen with the naked eye. Following a biopsy, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Throughout her cancer journey, the grandmother would learn the importance of taking care of her own health and body. And soon, she would truly understand the words her mother told her as a child: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
