Long wait time. I realize pre-registration at urgent care still means a long wait 1.5 hours in my case. But the board indicating patient status is meaningless and confusing. What is the rank order? It's not displayed. What's the difference between "present", "waiting" and the other terms used?

Front desk acted like they wouldn't take my crying daughter because it was after 940 and hours are posted until 10. Post closing time to 940 and take last patient then or instruct staff to not turn away patients.

Registration area- I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment. Via Mychart i notified that i was there and filled most of the information required.The only lady that was in the reception area never acknowledge my precense, until a guy came and asked me if he can help me. Then he told me to go and sit beside her. (that happened 5 minutes before my appointment.

I told the provider what the ideal window for starting Paxlovid for Covid is, and he corrected me. I am a PharmD. The ideal window is to start within the first 24 hours of sx onset, based on new data. Other than that, the provider was competent and listened to me. Please get your medical staff the most recent information on medication use.

Urgency of the situation was as if we were not important to the entire group of medical staff. The aliment my child was suffering was not as serious as others, but it was enough for the school to recommend I take her to urgent care. When I tried to make the visit bearable for all involved the entry level nurse gave me attitude because I asked how long is the wait after I returned so my child could be seen. Although my exchange with the entry-level nurse irritated me, I kept my peace and gave her an opportunity to address my concerns and she did.

It was stellar. I plan to write a thank you letter. Reception was efficient and helpful. The doctor was thorough and caring. The sonogram tech was courteous, explained what was happening and went above and beyond to get results back to Urgent Care quickly. The doctor explained the diagnosis, provided encouragement and got me started on treatment before making a referral. Could not have been better.
