We have extensive experience caring for young patients. Our pediatric imaging suites are a colorful environment with state-of-the-art equipment and technology designed for children’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
Wellstar pediatric radiology doctors interpret imaging such as x-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear medicine. In some cases, children will have a chance to experience play therapy before their imaging to help them understand the process, to reduce any fear or anxiety.
