Pediatric Radiology at Wellstar

Wellstar’s pediatric diagnostic radiologists put children at ease while undergoing diagnostic tests. Our specialists diagnose a range of conditions in children, including newborns, toddlers, teenagers, and even young adults through the age of 21.

We have extensive experience caring for young patients. Our pediatric imaging suites are a colorful environment with state-of-the-art equipment and technology designed for children’s physical and emotional wellbeing.

Wellstar pediatric radiology doctors interpret imaging such as x-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear medicine. In some cases, children will have a chance to experience play therapy before their imaging to help them understand the process, to reduce any fear or anxiety.
