Everything was as it always is. From the moment I walked in, I didn't have to wait long and the staff at the desk was pleasant. And then the lady who took my blood pressure and vitals, she was just as friendly as she could be and led me to the waiting room. And the doctor was, he was in the hallway until I got there. And yeah, he's just one of the best guys I know, not only a good doctor, but a good person. And yeah, I'd recommend him to anybody. But yeah, I'd give him five stars. Thank you.

Dr Conkright has been my doctor for over 20yrs..He's a great doctor and better human being..Dr Conkright always listen to my concerns and very attentive to my overall health so he can reccomend the best care and treatment for me..He really takes time with his patients..Also want to mention Nurse Tammy...I have small and rolling veins and she only stuck me once to draw blood..She's very friendly, courteous and professional..

Wellstar shouldn't be in the healthcare industry. They have ruined our community and the quality of healthcare we had several years ago You are only profit minded and cut too many corners when it comes to service personnel

Yeah, I was happy with everything except for the payment amount. Y'all charge too much. People can't afford to pay $250 for a visit. Plus, if you got self-pay, you got to pay for blood work and all that. Other than that, I'm happy.

All my answers being yes, definitely were on behalf of Dr. Conkright and his staff. He is the same caring, capable physician he's always been. I was the first patient when Family Medical Associates of Augusta was formed in 1981 by Dr. John Baxley who left decades ago when he moved and Dr. Conkright bought the practice. I realize there are many changes since AU Health bought the practice and now Wellstar has purchased AU Health. Patient care for all of us is my concern. I do appreciate that the processes have and continue to change. Even though I'm 80 I have successfully navigated My Chart (with help) and respect the new policies. If I can just make one observation and suggestion. Making wrist labels seems to be a laborious, albeit automated process for the most part, that's not necessary. I realize how important that is for inpatients but for a doctors appointment it's counter intuitive. The staff that I ask about it agrees. No, I did not mention this to Dr. Conkright. I wish to conclude that I remain confident and thankful for Dr. Conkright and Wellstar notwithstanding the changes we all have to get used to. After all it's our health care that's so very important.
