I wish I could do my blood work before my visit

The only reason it didn't give a ten is because I've had repeated trouble getting referrals processed. Dr. Cheeley is amazing. I was hesitant to take a medication to lower my blood sugar because my husband died of low blood sugar. He explained why he recommended the medicine he did and then offered alternatives and explained the relative benefits of each. It made me feel like he cared and understood. It also made me feel like an active participant in my care.

Apparently there are issues with scheduling. Some how my yearly appointment, that was scheduled a year ago got canceled between the time I did the on line check in and the appointment. It just happened that I received a text about a 8:30 appointment, which I didn't have. I called and was told my 1:45 appointment had been canceled, not by me! Good thing I called about the text because I would have shown up and not had an appointment. Not good! The 1st person I talked to said sorry nothing could be done. My response was, no,no,no. I talked to another scheduling person and she was able to get my appointment back. I'm thankful she took care of it. Not sure what's going on with the scheduling. System error ? Human error?
