The staff was very friendly and listened to our concerns. The only complaint is that we arrived on time for our appointment and was greeted by several employees if the staff. Once we got to our room we waited longer than we should have to see the doctor. A student came in and asked us some questions and then we waited for the doctor. After sitting in the exam room for 20 minutes or so I had to step out of the room and ask how much longer we were going to wait because our son had another appointment he was going to be late for. At that time the doctor came in and met with us. She apologized for the long wait and listened to our concerns. But a patient should not have to step out of their room to ask how much longer they have to wait for the doctor when they arrive for their appointment on time. Before attending the appointment we were told that this department tends to run very slow. And that was our experience.

I'm always impressed by Dr. Goei and her care for my daughter. She tries to think outside the box to come up with the best treatment options.

Waited over 1 hour and 15 minutes to be seen by a person. Ended up walking out of the appointment as we had another appointment to get to. Terrible experience will be going to another practice

Everybody was really friendly and really great with my son. He has autism, so I feel like they were very patient with him taking his vitals and Dr. Goei was very good about listening to my concerns. The only thing I would say that I've had issues with this visit and then visits in the past is I feel as though we're always waiting for, you know, and sometimes up to two to three hours to be seen, which can be very difficult, you know, with a young child with autism.

Unacceptable in my opinion to wait months for an appt and then arrive early for your appointment only to wait an hour and twenty minutes before even seeing a doctor.

Dr. Goei was my son's doctor seven years ago. We came for a second opinion. She listened to us. She was as she was before when she was his doctor, extremely helpful, extremely knowledgeable. We will always recommend her. She's amazing. Thank you.

Wellstar continues to be an utter failure at scheduling and KEEPING schedules. We waited an hour in the waiting room after arriving early as instructed. Waited another 30 minutes in the exam room only to be told that gastro got "stuck" with treating high cholesterol and the only thing they do is offer statins.

What was done really well was Dr. Goei herself. She listened, she validated concerns, but also didn't overreact. She took into consideration symptoms versus likely causes, and she talked to me like a parent prefers to be talked to. What was not done very well is scheduling an appointment is at least three to four months out. You cannot get in touch with anybody in the pediatric gastroenterology department to reschedule an appointment to voice or request concerns or feedback. When we had a biopsy on my small child done in November, we didn't hear anything back at all. No phone call, no response in MyChart. There was nothing until our follow-up appointment, almost 30 days later.

Doctor showed up an hour late, didn't listen to what we informed her we already tried prior to coming to the appointment, gave us paperwork that was half cut off on every page, then diagnosed our child with an allergy to something she doesn't even really eat at this point, which was told to her during the appointment.

We did receive treatment during the appointment, however, we did not receive a paper treatment plan that was discharged before. And I feel that that should be emailed to me, mailed to me, or tell me where I can pick that up.

The check-in process was very frustrating and it took an extreme amount of time more so than was needed for a doctor's office.
