Nurse practitioner was helpful but I still have the cough and the medicine did not work will seek second opinion

The NP, Veronica Delaney gave me the worst experience I have ever had with Wellstar. Horrible bedside manners. I did not feel heard. My pain was not addressed. My questions were not openly answered. When i went back to read the Google review it's aligned with others experience with this provider. The gentleman at the front desk and the nurse was amazing.

The front office staff and the medical assistants were pleasant. My issues came in when speaking with the Nurse Practitioner, Veronica. She did not show concern for the viral sinus infection I had for over a week and did not listen to the pain I mentioned I had. This was the second time I was seen by her and both times was brushed off by her with the health concerns I had. It felt like I was being treated as someone who was seeking drugs or not taken seriously. As someone who has always came to this location once moving to Cobb, I am highly disappointed in the treatment I have gotten from this nurse. Unfortunately this is the closest location to my home, but I refuse to be seen by her if I have to go back to this location. I love coming to Wellstar and the health accessibility that is provided to all regardless of race or demographics, but have not felt this way when seeing Nurse Veronica.

Everyone showed much concern for my complaints from the front desk personnel to the very very friendly nurse that waited on me, and she called me 3 days later to check on me. My NP asked questions about my concerns and asked did she answer my questions. Explained my meds & needs. Great staff!!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with Nurse Practitioner Veronica at The WellStar at Cobb. Unfortunately, I left feeling completely unheard and dismissed regarding my health concerns. Rather than receiving compassionate care, I felt that my symptoms were minimized and not taken seriously. Additionally, the overall customer service I received was poor - I did not feel respected or supported during my visit. I hope this feedback encourages better patient communication and attentiveness in the future.

Unfortunately, I got a strep test and the quick test came back negative, but they did not send it out for cultures. I had to come back and do another urgent care visit because I do in fact have strep throat and the new doctor sent a test out for cultures.

I was very disappointed with the care I received this past week. The nurse was very nice however it stopped at that. The nurse practitioner walked into my room, and never once introduced herself to me. She showed no empathy that I was feeling very poorly, was too busy trying to get me out of the room than to show actual concern. It was the worst urgent care visit. I've had with Wellstar. And then at the end, did not send my prescriptions off, but handed them to me so I could get them filled myself. I don't know if that's a new standard, but again very nonhelpful and uncaring. I would not have known she was a nurse practitioner without her badge on.

I asked for zofran for my child that I brought in for nausea. i was told by the PA that she didn't recommend ocean for 5 yo and to get zarbees otc. I told her i've given it to him before and she refused to provide a rx. I also asked for a prednisone dose pack but she prescribed #5 5mg steroids even after i told her that's what i needed and it's what i always take for an upper respiratory infection- she agreed that my symptoms summed up to. I am an employee of Wellstar @ Kennestone in the inpatient pharmacy as well as a certified technician at Publix Pharmacy in Mableton. I had to make separate tele-health appointments with Piedmont for myself and my child to receive the rxs we needed. They were more than happy to provide after listening. Haf she actually listened to me and not rushed us out of the urgent care, she would've known that those are the medications we both needed to feel better, faster- because we were familiar with them.

Oh, I'll advise. It was great. Everything that he did was great. I will tell anyone to come to East West, uh, doctor office here at the, uh, place where I was able to tell anybody it was a 10, always a 10. They were very experienced. They were very likable and they knew what they was doing. And I really, really truly like it with all my heart. And I recommend this place to anyone.

All other staff was wonderful and friendly. The provider was short and did not have a good bedside manner. She also did not send the prescription to the pharmacy that she said she would when I asked her a question she spoke down to me. I do not want to see the provider again and I've been to this urgent care on several occasions and never been treated this way

The physician, nor has the clinic, called us back to give us results of the test that we ran. And they said that they would give us a call back within 24 to 48 hours. And it's been, how many days? It's been three days. So it's been over 72 hours.

I feel like the provider who saw me didn't review my complaint before seeing me and seemed very annoyed that I was even there. Also didn't introduce herself when she came in. Just walked in and said "I heard you have cold symptoms."

The doctor didn't listen to what has happened in the past and looked me right in the eye and told me my tonsil was not swollen. When that was the reason I was there. It is twice as bad now as when I was there. I have had fever and chills now. It was a waist of money and time to go there. I'll be going to the emergency room next. I want my money back. I'll never go back there again. Thank you for nothing.

NP Delaney should have done more for my condition. I understand there are rules involved with prescribing drugs but when someone comes to UC with a true issue and they have no insurance they shouldn't be told to follow up with a GP after spending 167.00. I needed a prescription for something I've taken for years and is on MyChart. I spent all that to be told to buy an OTC and go to a doctor. Will not be returning here.

Everyone showed much concern for my complaints from the front desk personnel to the very very friendly nurse that waited on me, and she called me 3 days later to check on me. My NP asked questions about my concerns and asked did she answer my questions. Explained my meds & needs. Great staff!!!!

The front office staff and the medical assistants were pleasant. My issues came in when speaking with the Nurse Practitioner, Veronica. She did not show concern for the viral sinus infection I had for over a week and did not listen to the pain I mentioned I had. This was the second time I was seen by her and both times was brushed off by her with the health concerns I had. It felt like I was being treated as someone who was seeking drugs or not taken seriously. As someone who has always came to this location once moving to Cobb, I am highly disappointed in the treatment I have gotten from this nurse. Unfortunately this is the closest location to my home, but I refuse to be seen by her if I have to go back to this location. I love coming to Wellstar and the health accessibility that is provided to all regardless of race or demographics, but have not felt this way when seeing Nurse Veronica.

The NP, Veronica Delaney gave me the worst experience I have ever had with Wellstar. Horrible bedside manners. I did not feel heard. My pain was not addressed. My questions were not openly answered. When i went back to read the Google review it's aligned with others experience with this provider. The gentleman at the front desk and the nurse was amazing.

Unfortunately, I got a strep test and the quick test came back negative, but they did not send it out for cultures. I had to come back and do another urgent care visit because I do in fact have strep throat and the new doctor sent a test out for cultures.

I had a very disappointing experience with Nurse Practitioner Veronica at The WellStar at Cobb. Unfortunately, I left feeling completely unheard and dismissed regarding my health concerns. Rather than receiving compassionate care, I felt that my symptoms were minimized and not taken seriously. Additionally, the overall customer service I received was poor - I did not feel respected or supported during my visit. I hope this feedback encourages better patient communication and attentiveness in the future.

I feel like the provider who saw me didn't review my complaint before seeing me and seemed very annoyed that I was even there. Also didn't introduce herself when she came in. Just walked in and said "I heard you have cold symptoms."

I was very disappointed with the care I received this past week. The nurse was very nice however it stopped at that. The nurse practitioner walked into my room, and never once introduced herself to me. She showed no empathy that I was feeling very poorly, was too busy trying to get me out of the room than to show actual concern. It was the worst urgent care visit. I've had with Wellstar. And then at the end, did not send my prescriptions off, but handed them to me so I could get them filled myself. I don't know if that's a new standard, but again very nonhelpful and uncaring. I would not have known she was a nurse practitioner without her badge on.

Oh, I'll advise. It was great. Everything that he did was great. I will tell anyone to come to East West, uh, doctor office here at the, uh, place where I was able to tell anybody it was a 10, always a 10. They were very experienced. They were very likable and they knew what they was doing. And I really, really truly like it with all my heart. And I recommend this place to anyone.

I asked for zofran for my child that I brought in for nausea. i was told by the PA that she didn't recommend ocean for 5 yo and to get zarbees otc. I told her i've given it to him before and she refused to provide a rx. I also asked for a prednisone dose pack but she prescribed #5 5mg steroids even after i told her that's what i needed and it's what i always take for an upper respiratory infection- she agreed that my symptoms summed up to. I am an employee of Wellstar @ Kennestone in the inpatient pharmacy as well as a certified technician at Publix Pharmacy in Mableton. I had to make separate tele-health appointments with Piedmont for myself and my child to receive the rxs we needed. They were more than happy to provide after listening. Haf she actually listened to me and not rushed us out of the urgent care, she would've known that those are the medications we both needed to feel better, faster- because we were familiar with them.

The physician, nor has the clinic, called us back to give us results of the test that we ran. And they said that they would give us a call back within 24 to 48 hours. And it's been, how many days? It's been three days. So it's been over 72 hours.

It is twice as bad now as when I was there. I have had fever and chills now. It was a waist of money and time to go there. I'll be going to the emergency room next. I want my money back.
