I will likely not return to this practice or Wellstar. I feel that the amount I was charged for service was unfair. I was verbally quoted between $175-$225; clearly, the doctor inflated the time spent with me and charged for a 45-59 minute visit totaling $331. My visit was not that long. As well, many of the needless questions he asked would have shortened the visit even more. It really should have taken 15 minutes instead of ~30 minutes, particularly considering I had to drive to another location for bloodwork. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Everyone, including the doctor, knew that I lost my job and have limited funds right now. There is no mercy in this system, and Wellstar GME fell right in line with taking advantage of people in my situation. Needless to say, I will do my best to find another provider, outside of Wellstar, for my uninsured and future insured care. Thank you!
