My experience today was unsatisfactory. I followed all of your instructions, I checked in more than 15 minutes ahead of my appointment. The nurse or tech that takes you to back was very nonchalant not seeming to care. When checking my weight I explained that my boots, coat, sweatshirt would cause a least 4lbs or more to be added and to please deduct that from the total weight, she said would do that, however she didn't. By the time she came to get me it was already 7 minutes past my appointment time. After the nurse/tech took my blood pressure, she gave a grown to put on explaining to leave open in the front and then left out. Not saying the Dr will be with shortly or nothing. I sat in the exam room for over 20 minutes before the Dr came in, which is already 30 minutes past my appointment time. Once the Dr comes in she introduces herself as though I was a new patient. She asked me how did I feel and I responded honestly that I am better and that I didn't have any of the symptoms she asked me about. It was as though she did not care that I was better, all the things I shared with her about exercise, natural supplements along with what I have already been taking that she prescribed. Rather than me having an input to my healing, she tells that she wanted to do test and prescribe more medications rather than hearing me the patient. Now I had been there almost 45 minutes waiting to be seen, only to get about 10 minutes of the Dr.'s time. The young lady that originally checked me in was very attentive and caring and upon check out she acknowledged as well. I really didn't feel very appreciated as a customer or a patient because it seems like if I don't agree to a lot pharmaceutical meds, I am considered , non compliant therefore I am not a priority. I thought that seeing a doctor and getting a diagnosis and doing what it takes to get better they would be happy for you rather than treat you with contempt.

The medical assistants and nurses, I know they're young ladies or young gentlemen, and they do not or have not dealt with elderly people much, I'm not sure, but I think that their disposition for elderly needs to be, they need to be talked to about that, to be more patient, a little more concerned when it's an elderly person. The medicine that Dr. Allen prescribed me basically brought me back to life. I suffered a heart failure and was under the care previous to this heart failure of a different medical group. This group did not care for me and thus, I'm sorry not to say they care for me, but I experienced a heart failure. I sat in the exam room for over 20 minutes before the Dr came in, which is already 30 minutes past my appointment time. Once the Dr comes in she introduces herself as though I was a new patient. She asked me how did I feel and I responded honestly that I am better and that I didn't have any of the symptoms she asked me about. It was as though she did not care that I was better, all the things I shared with her about exercise, natural supplements along with what I have already been taking that she prescribed. Rather than me having an input to my healing, she tells that she wanted to do test and prescribe more medications rather than hearing me the patient. Now I had been there almost 45 minutes waiting to be seen, only to get about 10 minutes of the Dr.'s time. The young lady that originally checked me in was very attentive and caring and upon check out she acknowledged as well. I really didn't feel very appreciated as a customer or a patient because it seems like if I don't agree to a lot pharmaceutical meds, I am considered , non compliant therefore I am not a priority. I thought that seeing a doctor and getting a diagnosis and doing what it takes to get better they would be happy for you rather than treat you with contempt.
