The fact that the office is continually understaffed made the wait times for a routine physical and bloodwork appointment outrageous. I was there for over 3 hours; 5 mins of bloodwork and maybe 15 with the doctor. Unbelievably slow.

As a matter of fact, she asked some of the most wide variety of questions regarding my health, as well as background that I haven't had in a very long time. And also helped me realize and learn some new things about myself and my health. Also gave me recommendations of things that I was thinking about in taking care of myself versus prescriptions for everything. But then she did with the prescriptions I needed. She helped me thoroughly with that as well. And now we're finally getting CVS and all that together and moving forward. Thank you.

This visit has several off-putting interactions: 1) The office is so busy that when I tried to schedule my annual, the next available appts were in January! I often get the vibe here that they are just soooo busy, and that doesn't bode well for feeling personally known and cared for. 2) I had my daughter with me and the MA made a comment about "are you going to give this little girl a sibling?" Super insensitive comment as many people struggle with infertility or don't want more kids for many reasons. 3) After I gave my urine sample, I was told the provider would be in in 10 to 15 minutes. The provider finally came in about 40 minutes later. She did not apologize or acknowledge that the wait had been so long. 4) While the provider seems to be on the right track about diagnosing my problem, she did not do much to earn my trust to start our visit. I had not seen her before as it was the nurse practitioner under my regular doctor. I wish she had taken the time to introduce herself and ask open-ended questions about my problem rather than jump to how I was wrong about my potential diagnosis. Given all of these things together, especially the busyness of the office that makes it hard to book an annual exams, as well as the dark and dated feeling of the facility, I am strongly considering transferring to a different Wellstar practice. There are several new offices closer to my home, so hopefully I can find somewhere that feels more friendly and doesn't make me wait so long for care.

I got an appointment with her, but she waited till Monday from a Wednesday in order to do anything. So I got feeling better by the time. So I won't know what it is until I go to the emergency room next time it happens. I was very disappointed.
