About Tami Breton, MD
In addition to being board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Breton is also board certified in Integrative Medicine. Integrative medicine focuses on more natural and less invasive treatment and wellness programs. Training with the industry’s top thought leaders in Integrative Health, Dr. Breton’s experience sets her apart in this emerging field with her knowledge of evidenced-based health care. Dr. Breton is the Medical Director of Wellstar Medical Group Integrative Health.
Dr. Breton is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Integrative Medicine. I was disappointed that my lab work could not be performed at the same location as my visit. I had to drive 20 minutes and wait an hour before my blood work could be taken. Very inconvenient and I'm not really certain why it has changed

Like this practice and Doctor, nurses are great. Some in the front office are not professional, though. Complaining about work, their schedules, got a to go order at 10 in the morning. Asked me to sign papers with incorrect insurance info and when I asked for corrected sheet to sign they acted like I was out of line. Made me uncomfortable. Perhaps this office could benefit from front end training in customer service, as well as glass wall/window so all the patients don't have to listen to their complaints and chatter to each other . I felt comfortable in the back office , where they obviously care about their patients. Dr. Breton went out of her way to try and get me the help I need. I am truly thankful for that

Please remember that some patients have treatment plans for rare conditions that are different from general guidelines. Please have empathy, understanding, and compassion for those patients. It feels bad when I am advocating for myself and treating one condition well and my PCP tells me that I am going to potentially have a major health concern unless I follow guidelines that impair my overall function. I am not one number or a set of test results. I am a whole person, and my entire health including my rare condition needs to be taken into consideration when making treatment decisions.
