About Tami Breton, MD
In addition to being board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Breton is also board certified in Integrative Medicine. Integrative medicine focuses on more natural and less invasive treatment and wellness programs. Training with the industry’s top thought leaders in Integrative Health, Dr. Breton’s experience sets her apart in this emerging field with her knowledge of evidenced-based health care. Dr. Breton is the Medical Director of Wellstar Medical Group Integrative Health.
Dr. Breton is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Integrative Medicine. She was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Bridges to Excellence Program for quality diabetes care and management.
Dr. Breton believes that healing and wellness can be achieved by combining conventional Internal Medicine with evidence based complementary more natural modalities. The 'new' offices are BEAUTIFUL! I love the new look. Dr Breton was very pleasant and professional . Being a senior patient she was very thoughtful . The nurses were very pleasant.

When you have a physical that you should be able to get your lab work done at the same time. It is a inconvenience now that you have to schedule an appointment to come back for your lab work. I also think that in the physical you should be able to talk about stuff that you need to talk about not only certain things only at a physical.

Physical was very limited. 6 minutes total time with Medical Doctor. Physicals in the past at Wellstar and Northside were MUCH more comprehensive with vision, reflexes, muscular-skeletal checks, prostate exam, discussion of colonoscopy, EKG, etc. Also, labs were always done before the physical so I could discuss results face-to-face with the doctor.

I did not like that there were windows in the exam room and I had to undress with construction workers right outside the windows. If I can see them, they can see me. And I could definitely see them and it made me very uncomfortable.
