About Tami Breton, MD
In addition to being board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Breton is also board certified in Integrative Medicine. Integrative medicine focuses on more natural and less invasive treatment and wellness programs. Training with the industry’s top thought leaders in Integrative Health, Dr. Breton’s experience sets her apart in this emerging field with her knowledge of evidenced-based health care. Dr. Breton is the Medical Director of Wellstar Medical Group Integrative Health.
Dr. Breton is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Integrative Medicine. Even with the construction underway at my doctor's office, the entire staff was professional and attentive to each person.

When I made the appointment last year for my physical this year, I specifically made it to include both my lab and exam times. Then, the day before my appointment, I was notified I could not get my labs done, and that I would either have to re-schedule or go to a Wellstar Healthpark. Even when I asked what happened to my original lab appointment, I was told rather firmly that "we don't do that anymore", but that I could fast and hope to get "worked in" at Dr. Breton's office. I elected to fast and go to the Acworth Healthpark first thing the morning of my physical, only to discover the orders were not there. So I drove to Dr. Breton's office, explained what I'd just been through, and requested to be worked in. They would not do it. So, I had my physical, then went back to the Acworth Healthpark, where I found the waiting room completely filled. The wait was 45 minutes to have labs drawn. Luckily, after 20 minutes, a staff member remembered seeing me at 7:00 that morning, asked me what the situation was, then kindly moved me to the front of the line. While I love Dr. Breton, and the staff has always been kind, I am appalled by this latest development. People who work take the morning off, or even the day off from work, in order to get an annual physical - including labs. Being told the day before that "we no longer do same day labs here" means those people have to scramble to make other arrangements. I was told they have one person drawing labs and that she is overwhelmed doing labs for several different providers. Come on, Wellstar. Clearly, you need more people drawing labs. And please don't tell me you can't afford it. Driving to Acworth Healthpark in the storm in our area yesterday morning, being turned away, then turned down for a "work in", then returning to Acworth Healthpark was a ridiculous fiasco caused by a seemingly thoughtless administrative decision.

Dr. Breton is such an amazing physician. Several years ago I moved to another part of the Atlanta area and tried to find a new doctor, but none could compare. I will glad drive over an hour to be treated by her. Her and her staff are so caring, kind and compassion. They listen to my concerns and treat me with respect and dignity.

I was treated with professionalism, friendliness and respect from check in to check out. The front desk check in staff member added an additional insurance upon arrival. Debbie, the first MA I encountered handled my welcome to medicare appointment with thorouhness, friendliness and easy to understand instructions. Dr Breton did a thorough exam, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. She has a great bedside manner and appears interested in all you have to say. Edwina, the MA who did my EKG and gave me a pneumonia vaccine was quick, efficient and very nice. Jesse at check out handled an issue with my secondary insurance and I felt very good after my appointment with how the visit went and the care I received from all the staff. I highly recommend Dr Breton and staff as a primary doctor.

"My team" today was Dr. Breton, Deborah and Edwina. I love how Dr. Breton treats you. Like a friend, and someone she really cares about and her "bedside manner" is excellent. She really listens to you, which has become a thing of the past with many doctors. Debbie was very polite, welcoming and efficient in her interaction with me. Edwina came and got me from the room and walked me to checkout. She was cheerful and very pleasant. Overall I had a GREAT appointment!

Debbie, the first MA I encountered handled my welcome to medicare appointment with thorouhness, friendliness and easy to understand instructions. Dr Breton did a thorough exam, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. She has a great bedside manner and appears interested in all you have to say. Edwina, the MA who did my EKG and gave me a pneumonia vaccine was quick, efficient and very nice. Jesse at check out handled an issue with my secondary insurance and I felt very good after my appointment with how the visit went and the care I received from all the staff. I highly recommend Dr Breton and staff as a primary doctor.

I was treated with professionalism, friendliness and respect from check in to check out. The front desk check in staff member added an additional insurance upon arrival. Debbie, the first MA I encountered handled my welcome to medicare appointment with thorouhness, friendliness and easy to understand instructions. Dr Breton did a thorough exam, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. She has a great bedside manner and appears interested in all you have to say. Edwina, the MA who did my EKG and gave me a pneumonia vaccine was quick, efficient and very nice. Jesse at check out handled an issue with my secondary insurance and I felt very good after my appointment with how the visit went and the care I received from all the staff. I highly recommend Dr Breton and staff as a primary doctor.

Dr. Breton is such an amazing physician. Several years ago I moved to another part of the Atlanta area and tried to find a new doctor, but none could compare. I will glad drive over an hour to be treated by her. Her and her staff are so caring, kind and compassion. They listen to my concerns and treat me with respect and dignity.

I've been a patient of Dr. Breton's for over 20 years now and I look forward to seeing her once a year at my visits. A lot of doctors don't make themselves available and you end up seeing physicians' assistants more so than you see the doctor actually. When I made the appointment last year for my physical this year, I specifically made it to include both my lab and exam times. Then, the day before my appointment, I was notified I could not get my labs done, and that I would either have to re-schedule or go to a Wellstar Healthpark. Even when I asked what happened to my original lab appointment, I was told rather firmly that "we don't do that anymore", but that I could fast and hope to get "worked in" at Dr. Breton's office. I elected to fast and go to the Acworth Healthpark first thing the morning of my physical, only to discover the orders were not there. So I drove to Dr. Breton's office, explained what I'd just been through, and requested to be worked in. They would not do it. So, I had my physical, then went back to the Acworth Healthpark, where I found the waiting room completely filled. The wait was 45 minutes to have labs drawn. Luckily, after 20 minutes, a staff member remembered seeing me at 7:00 that morning, asked me what the situation was, then kindly moved me to the front of the line. While I love Dr. Breton, and the staff has always been kind, I am appalled by this latest development. People who work take the morning off, or even the day off from work, in order to get an annual physical - including labs. Being told the day before that "we no longer do same day labs here" means those people have to scramble to make other arrangements. I was told they have one person drawing labs and that she is overwhelmed doing labs for several different providers. Come on, Wellstar. Clearly, you need more people drawing labs. And please don't tell me you can't afford it. Driving to Acworth Healthpark in the storm in our area yesterday morning, being turned away, then turned down for a "work in", then returning to Acworth Healthpark was a ridiculous fiasco caused by a seemingly thoughtless administrative decision.
