About Tami Breton, MD
In addition to being board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Breton is also board certified in Integrative Medicine. Integrative medicine focuses on more natural and less invasive treatment and wellness programs. Training with the industry’s top thought leaders in Integrative Health, Dr. Breton’s experience sets her apart in this emerging field with her knowledge of evidenced-based health care. Dr. Breton is the Medical Director of Wellstar Medical Group Integrative Health.
Dr. Breton is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Integrative Medicine. She was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Bridges to Excellence Program for quality diabetes care and management.
Dr. Breton believes that healing and wellness can be achieved by combining conventional Internal Medicine with evidence based complementary more natural modalities. Every single person I came into contact with was very friendly and attentive. I do not like doctor appts but this was actually a pleasant experience...as far as doctor visits go! They even fit me in to see the lab floater which was very convenient getting my blood work done at the same location and time as the doctor appointment.

Everything was a perfect 10 until check out. At check out when I was scheduling an appointment for the following year, I was told that Dr Breton would not see me the following year but one of her associates would. The scheduler would not allow me to schedule with Dr Breton. My only choices were to pick a male physician or the female physician who I have seen before and who has previously misdiagnosed something on me and also one of my friends. I'm very disappointed in this development. I'm wondering if this is Medicare related?

I feel it is NOT in the interest of people on medicare to be charged an additional expense to bring up any issues or concerns during a Medicare physical!!! I have asked numerous friends and their primary care Dr does not do this.
