Dr. Suraj Menachery received his bachelor's degree from Duke University in Durham, NC. He received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Menachery completed his general surgery residency while at the University of Tennessee and completed his minimally-invasive surgery fellowship in Valhalla, NY.
Dr. Menachery is board-certified by the American Board of General Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgeons.

I felt that the doctor was not listening to my concerns and the challenges that I was facing. He was talking a lot. I understand that I am not an easy patient, but please, please listen. If I could fix my health, I would not be in the clinic.

Dr did not address the pain I was having on the day of the visit. Concentrated on the test results, which were favorable. I left the office feeling like I was not heard. Would have liked a plan to prevent this pain in the future.

He knew a lot about different resolutions and suggestions and options for me instead of just jumping to the most drastic thing to kind of embrace the process through it. He was absolutely wonderful. I definitely will return, plan on returning and have follow-up appointments.

While Dr Hyde is my Dr but he was out on leave. Dr Menachary saw me and treated me he had to perform a surgery. I was a bit nervous but after speaking with him and feeling how much he cared and was very explanatory from beginning to end!! While I have my reserve about other doctors at well star the General surgery clinic goes above and beyond for their patients. I have never and will never have a complaint about this office the medical assistants, the Nurse Practitioner, the people who check you in, and the nurses are so sweet and kind and patient. And they care about the patients. There is not enough stars our highest ratings for the doctors and their staff here. Dr Menachary and Dr Hyde are top tier top level doctors and a great EXAMPLE on how patients should be treated. I'm happy and will go there for my needs pertaining to what they do and what they treat. Thank you guys for helping me and treating me. You make me feel human and not like a medical number.
