I called and made appt specifically for information on HRT and annual exam. I would usually see a NP, but was told I needed to see Dr. for the HRT. The nurse who took all my information at time of visit also said no problem Dr. could help with information. She was great. Once Dr. Rao came in, I started telling her about my insomnia, brain fog and other symptoms only to be told, I am sorry I cannot discuss this on this visit, you need to make another for HRT. I got a simple exam, (did not need pap) and left in tears knowing I wasted 3 months to get this appt for nothing to help me with my day to day issues that are disrupting my life. Dr. Rao is also booked up for next 2 months and July calendar was not available to schedule. I will not be coming back. Overall I give Wellstar high marks in every other area of care and customer support. Just not this experience. Very disappointing and I will be going outside of Wellstar for my menopause management. Thank you.

Ashley and Dr Rao were both amazing. I had a previous experience with an OBGYN who was very curt and dismissive. Seeing both Ashley and Dr Rao was a breath of fresh air. Dr Rao looked me in the eye, gave me space to speak, listened well, answered my questions thoroughly and asked me, without making me feel rushed, what else she could answer. I am very grateful for my experience there.

Dr. Rao explained that she couldn't address all of my concerns because the appointment was a "short" visit, which is true as it was scheduled as a 15 minutes appointment. Had I been told this when scheduling, I would have asked for a regular appointment because I have questions about my symptoms and how the symptoms can be managed.

The doctor seems very knowledgeable, very compassionate, compassionate, and she listens and she seems to know what she's talking about. But her visits are always very quickly. Even with my daughter, it's like in and out. Mine was in and out. I don't know. It's just a lot wasn't done in the physical. A lot is not explained. It's just very quick. It doesn't seem like a full exam. Besides that, she seems wonderful. It's just that it's very quick and doesn't seem like there's much done or not a lot of questions asked. I don't know. But yeah, that's how I felt, like in and out. Not rushed, but just like not much completed. It's a drive and then it's like I came here for that. It's like that feeling.

Dr. Rao is such a GREAT doctor! I really can't emphasize that enough. She really went above and beyond at this visit. Not only is she an OBGYN, she's also Board certified in weight loss. Which also was a concern of mine. I'm so thankful that she could help me address some issues that I was having, and then not only help me address them.
