Yes, so the nurse who took his blood pressure was unprofessional. I'm a former manager at WellSTAR, and the first blood pressure reading that she took of my son was extremely high, so she decided to take it again, and the second one was very low. So I asked her to take it a third time because she took it back to back. And she basically questioned, she told me that she was a registered nurse and asked me, did I work in the medical field? I mean, that's after she told me that she had already taken it a second time, so she did not need to take it a third time. And when I told her, it was a vast range between the first time that she took it, which was like one, his temperature was like 160, it's like 160 something over 100, 100 and something. And the second one was a 100%.

PA Stacey Sheldon was impressive and thorough with my infant as well as my 4 year old who was with me. She explained everything in a way a concerned and stressed mom could understand. She listened to my worries and made me feel so much better. Her bedside manner is top notch. The staff was also incredible and entertained my 4 year old tag-along. I can't recommend this urgent care enough!

I liked the way the doctor was concerned about my health and the decision she made to give me medication before sending me to the emergency room because that medication helped me and I was able to feel a little better. I am very grateful for your attention and service.

My previous experiences with Wellstar healthcare, and the fact that I'm employed by a competing healthcare system,made me very skeptical going into this urgent care, but I was very impressed that I was in and out of urgent care with this injury in less than an hour has helped to alleviate some of that skepticism. One of the benefits to the urgent care is that it's open till 10 o'clock PM. All the other urgent cares in the area close at 8 PM, which was my main reason for choosing this urgent care.

I do feel that the provider's approach to my situation was rushed. Apart from vital signs that was taken by med assistant and the eye test, the provider did not personally assess me by checking my eyes, checking my breathing with a stethoscope or anything like that.,She came in the middle of them performing an eye test and just started telling me she would refer me, without first asking how I was doing or at least showing some compassion. She later said after several minutes that she was sorry about what got into my eyes, but at that time the window of opportunity had passed and it came too late as I was about to leave. She referred me to the ER, after she made calls to find out how to best treat my situation. However, I was not satisfied with how she received and dismissed me.I wanted to ask her If my $150 paid upfront would be refunded because she did not perform the work of a provider on me, she did not assess me with even a stethoscope, or anything to know if I was breathing fine or how serious my condition was. I felt that was very concerning... I have never done a review on any provider or facility, but this got me thinking... This review is for improvement and not for me to be vindictive; I just don't wish or want anyone to feel the way that I felt. I felt like I had done something wrong by going to the urgent care. To cut the story short, I went to the ER, and great service was provided. This is not from a disgruntled patient but rather from someone who has identified a lapse and hopes there is room for improvement.
