The person that called to check me in started off with being upset that I corrected her on how to say my name then she went through my medication list saying she was getting rid of the duplicates but deleted all my medications. I went to the pharmacy only to find she deleted every last medication except what was prescribed by her office. Now my medications are not allowing me to refill anything. The person also did not know how to read or properly pronounce or even enunciate any medication names. The entire check in was a pain. I do not want to continue to see this doctor if these are the people checking me in. Even when I was contacted earlier that morning the person didn't even know my appointment time. How are you handling patient appointments and information when you can't read or communicate. Very upsetting and stressful. I still can't get my medication ordered and now I have to probably call my doctors and explain why I need more medication ordered which will be a process. Dr Patel was amazing and answered all my questions and concerns but her office staff needs training and reading lessons.
