Dr. King is a fellowship-trained and board-certified urologic surgeon specializing in male and female sexual medicine and prosthetic urology. She attended the University of Georgia and completed medical school and urology residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She continued her training in sexual medicine at San Diego Sexual Medicine. Dr. King is recognized as a center of excellence for penile implants. Her expertise includes erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease (penile curvature), low testosterone, low libido (sex drive), male urinary incontinence and arousal disorder.

The visit was too long. At least two of my appointments was over 4 hours waiting time. In the future it will be hard to schedule because I have kids and I can't wait all day for an appointment

I replied "mostly " to the survey questions because I was happy that Dr king wants to properly review the condition and develop the proper treatment plan. So getting a full understanding is not possible on first visit.

The urologist entered the room and didn't introduce herself. I had to ask if she was the urologist who was going to evaluate me. She was prescribing treatment without giving me a diagnosis or examining me. In fact, I had to ask her to perform a digital rectal exam to examine my prostate. She performed it and then only told me that my prostate weighed 40 grams without describing the characteristics in terms of consistency, texture, or presence of nodules. I had to ask her to tell me that information. I found the way the digital rectal exam was performed to be extremely unethical and unprofessional. A third person in the room was present with a tablet. The urologist never told me who that person was. The person saw the procedure completely invading my privacy, since I wasn't even offered to put on a gown or cover up in any way. The presence of the resident physician is normal, and I understand and accept that. Unfortunately, this physician-in-training is setting a very bad example to follow.
