First visit, so not much to go on yet because I have no test results or changes etc, but so far I'm extremely pleased with the staff and doctor. She was thorough, listened and discussed my history and based her lab work on that background and discussion. My longtime rheumatologist retired and I hope to make this a lasting partnership with Dr. Makhdoom, as it's hard to find one with both good doctor AND staff!

My first time visiting the office was a great experience and they were very conscious of my time.

The provider did not have my best interest. She was only concerned with dismissing me as a patient after she made sure she told me it's been a while since she saw me. I explained I was going through financial issues and issues with my deductible that's why I hadn't been seen.. she told me that's what will get me dismissed from her care.. she had no empathy. She got upset when she found out I wasn't taking the medication she prescribed after I told her that I don't do well with pills and that I already take so many. She had no concern for my reasons she only stated that there was no point in her seeing me if I wasn't gonna take the meds. She never offered alternatives like infusions or injections. She just wanted to tell me that if I went to another doctor they'd only prescribe medications too and I stated well even if they do they may have more empathy and concern then she had. She then opened the door and told the nurses I wouldn't be back in that office.. she told me to let myself out and speak to Mrs. Angela on the way out. Thankfully Mrs. Angela has always been sweet. She saw me crying and rectified the situation by getting the office manager who apologized and told me the decision would be mind to get discharged and to think about it some.
