We did not like the virtual visit, it's not like coming into the office and actually being examined by the provider. Also, trying to call the office is a lengthy process. Too many prompts and it's not the actual front office that we are connected with. Apparently it's a centralized answering system with various people taking calls and once again not speaking to the actual doctors team at the office. The wait time for a call to the office is lenghty. We want interaction from the office staff and doctors not from a centralized scheduling system. Wellstar is dropping the ball in many areas. I give the office staff at Wellstar pulmonary a 10. But the Wellstar processes is a negative zero. Patients want human contact, face to face interaction. Our appointment was changed abruptly from an office visit to a virtual visit.

The provider's office and the staff in the office were excellent. My problem was when I tried to schedule an appointment and I couldn't get anyone on the phone and they kept telling me to go to MyChart to schedule and there wasn't any appointments available in MyChart. So that was an issue. I actually had to go into the office and schedule an appointment from there.

The guy at the checkin desk and the lady who helped me with billing were wonderful. I showed up believing I had an appointment, but I had failed to save my appointment in mychart. Even though the error was my own fault, the guy at the front desk kindly worked me into the schedule anyway. Great job!
