About Raul Oyola, MD
Dr. Oyola is a native of the country of Colombia where in 1990 he received his medical degree with honors at the Metropolitan University in Barranquilla, Colombia. In July 1992, he came to the United States to continue his studies in medicine as a resident in internal medicine at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, University Hospital of the State University of New York in Brooklyn. Dr. Oyola went on to complete his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
Upon completion of his fellowship in 2001, Dr. Oyola joined Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C. at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital where he currently evaluates and treats patients while actively participating in Clinical Trials and Research as Co-PI for NGOC clinical trials.
Dr. Oyola is the past chairman Wellstar Health System Cancer Committee and Wellstar Cobb Hospital Credentials Committee. He is currently serving as part of the Wellstar Oncology Cabinet. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Cobb County Medical Society and the Medical Association of Georgia.

I had other Dr's tell me to get with my Oncologists to see is this problem was related to Waldenstrom. Dr Oyola said he didn't know anything about eyes. I should see another Dr. I feel they could have told me that before I came to see him. Now he wants to run all the tests to try to find something

I hate to have to go to monthly treatment at Kennesaw infusion center but the staff goes out of their way to make sure I am comfortable and they give me the confidence I am receiving the best help I deserve.

Dr Oyola is the best He operated on me for liver cancer many years ago and has kept me cancer free all of these years. I can not thank him enough. I will be leaving gorClrveland to be with son and family. Cleveland Clinic has the high reputation, but I honestly believe they will not be any better than what I have bee.n given here..
