Dr. Shivaram is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Augusta University. Dr. Shivaram studied extensively in India during medical school, followed by a pediatric residency with a focus on pediatric cardiology. She underwent residency training at the Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin and completed her pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Front desk staff seemed unfriendly and impatient. Sono tech seemed like she did not read patient notes correctly. Doctor was great and very informative.

The whole staff was very kind, caring, and knowledgeable. When you have to take your child to a cardiologist, it's very concerning and they made me feel at ease. The wait time was minimal and we were able to get an urgent appointment within 1 day. Not having to drive downtown was also a huge plus

I would say what y'all could improve in is when you're about to get ready to tell the parent the result, I would recommend you not be in the next room and I'm hearing what you're saying and the nurses are pretty much laughing at what you're saying like it's a joke or something. That didn't sit well with me at all. If y'all want to be talking loud, discussing my child before y'all come to me, I don't feel like the nurses should be laughing. Like, what are y'all laughing about? What is funny about what's going on? And I also don't like the fact that they asked about the parents' history and I'm telling you that my child's dad is no longer here and you want me to talk about his dad in front of him. That was a big no for me. So if they could improve with that, it would be great.

Upon arriving to this location, my child Ethan felt very comfortable with the staff and the doctor. They informed him and kept him involved in this process and it was greatly appreciated. They also explained what they were doing and how long it would take. And when the doctor came to the room, she also informed us and kept us well informed and explained the situation to me and my son.

It's confusing to say that an appointment is at 7:45 when the practice itself does not actually open until 8.... I arrived at 7:45 but I wasn't sure if the door would be unlocked and I would be able to go in - and it was raining so I didn't want to get my child out unnecessary. Just wish that if appointments are actually going to be at 7:45, it would make sense for the practice itself hours to say open at 7:45
