Dr. Shivaram is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Augusta University. Dr. Shivaram studied extensively in India during medical school, followed by a pediatric residency with a focus on pediatric cardiology. She underwent residency training at the Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin and completed her pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She practices in pediatric acute care and emergency services.

The whole staff was very kind, caring, and knowledgeable. When you have to take your child to a cardiologist, it's very concerning and they made me feel at ease. The wait time was minimal and we were able to get an urgent appointment within 1 day. Not having to drive downtown was also a huge plus

I would say what y'all could improve in is when you're about to get ready to tell the parent the result, I would recommend you not be in the next room and I'm hearing what you're saying and the nurses are pretty much laughing at what you're saying like it's a joke or something. That didn't sit well with me at all. If y'all want to be talking loud, discussing my child before y'all come to me, I don't feel like the nurses should be laughing. Like, what are y'all laughing about? What is funny about what's going on? And I also don't like the fact that they asked about the parents' history and I'm telling you that my child's dad is no longer here and you want me to talk about his dad in front of him. That was a big no for me. So if they could improve with that, it would be great.
