We had a very good visit with Pamela Pilcher, but a very hard time scheduling a follow up with the front desk staff member helping us. We had to speak to Pam again in person and get her to schedule the follow up for us to get anywhere. The front desk staff refused to work around our daughter's school schedule ( she attends a therapy school right now 3 hours away and is not always home). We tried to explain the situation, but the front desk staff member didn't seem to listen or want to work with us. We finally asked to talk directly to Pam Pilcher in order to get an appointment scheduled. We shouldn't have to get the provider to come up front in order to get an appointment scheduled.

Yes, Pamela Pilcher has always been an excellent doctor to my children and has dealt with my babies since they began. She's always caring and heartwarming and willing to listen and always open to testing to make sure that my girls are healthy. So I'm very pleased with Pamela Pilcher and we enjoy her very much.

The young lady that checked us in was not my ideal sort of receptionist. She came off as dismissive to me and she was worse to the Mom in front of me. If she can't check us in until 1:00, the reminder messages shouldn't tell me to arrive at 12:45. I understand what an employee lunch hour is; I didn't need that explained to me. The woman who checked us out and made follow up appointments was much more of a people person. She answered our questions kindly and was very easy to talk to. Our experience since this practice has become Wellstar is that the administrative side of things has really been lacking. We keep coming for Nurse Pam.
