Dr. Santa Maria and his nurses are amazing. It is the front office staff that I had a problem with. They were very kind and respectful, but did not follow through with calling about appointments or setting up appointments at the request of the physician. I called and left messages, did not get return calls, and at one point was told, overheard them tell the nurse that I did not check out right, which is incorrect. They did not set up the next appointment and each time it has happened twice and I had to physically go to the office to get an appointment immediately. Thank you.

My appointment was at 10:30. I arrived at 10:00 but was not allowed to check in until 10:15. I was finally called back for vitals at 11:00. I was then put in a room awaiting the doctor for another hour. A student finally came in for a few minutes to assess my health issue then left. The doctor finally came in around 12:30 and was in for about 10 minutes. The service was disappointing and time wasted. You need to do a better job with patient service.

The arrangement for receiving patients into the office for their appointment is less than professional. Today, I was leaning into the opening of the sign-in desk answering multiple questions from the receptionist and right next to me was a lady patient also leaning into through the opening answering multiple questions from another receptionist. It's awkward, clumsy, and disregards confidentiality... you can do better. On a positive note, Dr. Santamaria and his assistant were most professional and efficient... gave me complete confidence that they were looking out for my wellbeing.
