I just wanted to share just how much of a great job both the physician assistant Ellen as well as the nurse Samantha, I think what her name did. They were both very friendly, very engaging with me as a patient. Ellen was just very good about explaining why she was testing for certain things. And like she explained like even the scientific parts of it, which was like really nice and it obviously was clear that she knew what she was talking about. A lot of providers don't really do that and she really wanted to make sure that we checked everything and you could tell that she was actually concerned about getting to the bottom of like why I was not feeling well and Samantha just had like a really great bedside manners like she was super friendly.

Honestly, the care was fine. But in the end, I had googled my symptoms and was basically given the same diagnosis; the only extra thing was I was able to get a prescription for an antibiotic. $220 and about 30 minutes later.

I cannot recall if the assistant or PA washed or sanitized hands but they didn't need to touch me for exam. It was a visible skin rash. Everyone was very friendly, efficient and seemed knowledgeable. I do not frequent urgent care, and felt bad for coming in for this but it was the right decision, and I went to the right place. This was the best urgent care experience I've ever had.

I've been to other urgent care facilities in the WellSTAR system and they were a lot more efficient and in terms of their processing, they did a better job communicating with patients. And then as soon as I stopped talking, she looked at me and said, what brings you in today? Like I wasn't telling her things in the order the computer was asking her and it felt a little passive aggressive. Everybody else was wonderful.
