About Mindy Gentry, MD
In 2007, she became an assistant professor of medicine and the medical director for both the Women’s Cardiovascular Disease program and the Cardiac Rehabilitation program at the Medical College of Georgia. Her special interests include cardiac imaging, women and heart disease, and heart disease during pregnancy.
Dr. Gentry joined Wellstar in October 2010 and is currently on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
Dr. Gentry is married and the proud parent of three daughters. Her hobbies include traveling, exercising and playing golf.

Dr. Gentry is a central part of my team to ensure that my heart health is good while I undergo treatment and maintenance treatment! She is great to listen and explain, and her staff is timely, professional and gracious!
