About Mindy Gentry, MD
In 2007, she became an assistant professor of medicine and the medical director for both the Women’s Cardiovascular Disease program and the Cardiac Rehabilitation program at the Medical College of Georgia. Her special interests include cardiac imaging, women and heart disease, and heart disease during pregnancy.
Dr. Gentry joined Wellstar in October 2010 and is currently on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
Dr. Gentry is married and the proud parent of three daughters. Her hobbies include traveling, exercising and playing golf.

I waited 3 months for this appointment and it was worth the wait. The staff were wonderful and the CMA was great. Dr Gentry was outstanding. She listened to what I had to say and treated me with respect. I would recommend her to all my family. Thanks to all.

Dr Gentry is a wonderful doctor who has a very soothing manner and who was very thorough explaining my symptoms so that I could understand them. I feel vey comfortable in her care. Sadly I was unable to get a follow up appt with her within the allotted 3 months due to her already booked schedule. I was told her PA would be able to see me within that time frame and that Dr Gentry would review my visit with the P A.
