About Mindy Gentry, MD
In 2007, she became an assistant professor of medicine and the medical director for both the Women’s Cardiovascular Disease program and the Cardiac Rehabilitation program at the Medical College of Georgia. Her special interests include cardiac imaging, women and heart disease, and heart disease during pregnancy.
Dr. Gentry joined Wellstar in October 2010 and is currently on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
Dr. Gentry is married and the proud parent of three daughters. Her hobbies include traveling, exercising and playing golf.

Always appreciate the prompt responses from Dr Gentry and her staff! I needed a prescription refilled and Dr Gentry's nurse was able to assist the same day!! Two days before the year end!!! One thing I like to see you changing the Appointment Policy. I like to be able to make a follow up appt 11 months away. Since you changed it to 6 months, then now I have to put a reminder on my calendar to call in 6 months to make an appt for November. VERY, VERY, inconvenience, especially for older people and busy people.
