The doctor seemed rushed and stressed. He said very little during the visit and seemed annoyed that I was giving him information about my previous health history. He seemed completely uninterested and asked almost no questions. You would think an Endo seeing you for the very first time would like to know that your father and brother were both diabetic. He might as well have been a cashier who was trying to finish up with this customer so they could move on to the next. It was obvious that he was only interested in the immediate issue that brought me to the appointment. He never explained anything that he was doing. He disappeared at one point and returned with a machine to scan my thyroid without ever explaining beforehand what he was about to do. He was so impersonal, like being treated by a robot. After he delcared my thyroid was very, very small and almost gone due to atrophy, when I asked why it was like that and why I was on such a small dose of thyroid when it was almost gone, the answer he gave me was rush and scatttered and made zero sense...something about hormones in the body dropping and kidneys ceasing to function properly as you age...none of what he said made any sense. He just wanted me to shut up so he could get on to his next patient. I came back the next morning for labs as he had requested, and there was at least a 40-minute wait per the attendant. All the staff was excellent. Flor and Maria in the front desk were great, having a great smile greeting you and as well at checkout!! The nurse Maria was also super helpful and answered all my questions and of course Dr Munoz was amazing as well very knowledgeable and is doing wonders for my health!!

All the staff was excellent. Flor and Maria in the front desk were great, having a great smile greeting you and as well at checkout!! The nurse Maria was also super helpful and answered all my questions and of course Dr Munoz was amazing as well very knowledgeable and is doing wonders for my health!!

She then called a number that she knew and got someone on the line who could only schedule an early morning appointment (as the doctor had requested) over a week out! So now I'm supposed to wait over a week just to get the blood work done. I've always heard TERRIBLE things about Wellstar, including from a friend who was a head nurse there for many, many years and would not even let her own family go to Wellstar facilities. I decided to give this location a try since it's near my home, which was obviously a big mistake. HIRE MORE LAB TECHNICIANS!
