About Michael Riley, MD
Dr. Riley, a cardiac electrophysiologist, received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and philosophy from the Rockhurst University in 1996, and went on to attend medical school at Georgetown University. After completing his internship and residency at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, he completed his cardiovascular disease training at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He then spent two years at Emory University.
Dr. Riley is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology. He worked with Solaris Heart for two years before joining us at Wellstar Center for Cardiovascular Care.

Mike Riley is an amazing Dr. and I've been with him 17 years with all the ups n downs... he has took my heart to a very good place but my body just seems to reject any great Dr. care, this sucks. But this isn't Riley's fault and I'm thankful for him !!! FACT ! He's recommended a pacemaker for my condition which hey sounds good my crazy hide rejected everything else. He's a Fantastic Man, a great person, and hugely an Electrophysiology Specialist that needs a raise, a Brand New Car, and a long vacation somewhere warm with fantastic seafood !! Yup. Ask me again I'll say the same in person or online !! YOU ROCK MIKE !!!

Three issues, the first important the others less so: there was a problem transferring my medical records into your system (I personally faxed them and assured that they were received). Second, the on-line registration system did not work: I entered clinical and insurance data but it wouldn't take my scanned cards (I tried repeatedly). Finally, intake (history, vitals) was perfunctory and inaccurate.

Atmosphere was very comforting, staff was friendly. physician was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns. I have some fears concerning my A-Fib diagnosis and he was able to decrease my stress level and educated on different treatment plans for A-Fib. I left the appointment feeling better and understanding how to live with a fib.
