About Michael Riley, MD
Dr. Riley, a cardiac electrophysiologist, received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and philosophy from the Rockhurst University in 1996, and went on to attend medical school at Georgetown University. After completing his internship and residency at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, he completed his cardiovascular disease training at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He then spent two years at Emory University.
Dr. Riley is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology. He worked with Solaris Heart for two years before joining us at Wellstar Center for Cardiovascular Care.

My first time seeing Dr. Riley. Very knowledgeable, listened to everything I had to say--even drew me a picture of the heart and explained how PVCs occur. We both agree the medication I am on seems to be doing the job for now and he explained symptoms to look for should I need to contact them before my next follow up visit. The assistant who took my vital signs and medical history/prescriptions was very thorough and pleasant.

Dr. Riley reviewed the info I provided and made a recommended change to my blood thinner prescription. He also recommended I sent Medtronic monthly readings from my pacemaker since the expected battery life is now less than 4 months. He said the battery change could be done in an outpatient procedure. This visit with Dr. Riley, like previous visits, was very professional. He reviewed my info, discussed his recommendations and addressed the next steps. Look forward to seeing him at my next visit!

Dr Riley is a world-class rockstar. I watced the receptionist kick out an elderly gentleman and his caregiver because he was late for his appointment. That was not cool.

The physical condition of the exam room was not well maintained. There were chunks of plaster out of the wall. What I found disturbing about this, as I was there in that same room a year ago, that it had not been repaired.
