The NP walked into the room and called me by the wrong name . She then said my 30 min wait was because I arrived late and she saw another patient . I had arrived 10 min before my appointment and definitely was not late . She then asked if she could record our conversation . I consented but she couldn't get her phone to interact with the monitor in the room. She then asked me to move to another room - and attempted again to sync her phone to the monitor which also didn't work . She told me about some of her own personal health issues related to persistent coughing which I thought was unusual . When I asked her about the medicine actives in the RX she recommended (Advair ) she has to look it up on the screen . It was not the best experience .

My overall experience was great. The check-in staff and nurse were super pleasant and helpful. Provider encounter was as expected. However the check out experience was not great. The person checking me out and scheduling my next appointment was seated at a computer halfway across the room from the window and apparently expected me to yell to be heard a thought it was appropriateto do the same. While we were not really discussing health information, I still found this extremely rude and unprofessional. I've never had this experience at check out there before and hope it doesn't happen again.

I also want to recognize the lab technician who drew my blood today. I have very difficult veins, and blood draws are often challenging for me. She was professional, patient, and exceptionally skilled. She found the vein immediately, got the blood sample on the first stick, and made the entire process completely painless. Her expertise and caring approach were greatly appreciated and made a big difference in my experience.
