Margaret Keeling, MD

This is my first time meeting this doctor as well as visiting this location. I did not expect the challenge of traffic in the parking garage nor the convoluted path to get to the office. It was rather stressful on top of Atlanta traffic, which I am not yet used to, being that I am somewhat new to the area. However, I'm sure those things won't be an issue next time. I mention it because by the time I arrived, I was a bit stressed and concerned that I was running late and I do not like to be late as I respect everyone's time. Looking back now, I wish I'd had a little more time with the doctor. I would've liked to have reviewed with her my recent hormone blood test results. In my stress, I forgot to mention it, and the doctor never said anything so it completely was forgotten-although all the info is in my chart from my recent lab work. The appointment felt very rushed, and even though my major concerns were addressed, I am now wondering about the blood test results. I know I can always call back and ask for a follow up visit or ask a nurse to review with me over the phone. All in all it wasn't a stellar experience. I spent 40 minutes getting to the appointment, 10 minutes, looking for parking, about 15 minutes with the doctor and another half hour returning home. While I really liked the doctor, her bedside manner, and how she explained everything, I wish I had not gotten flustered and had been more prepared to stick to all the things I wanted to learn and understand during my first appointment with her.

I wish someone had told me to take pain medication prior to my visit. I wish there were options for dealing with the pain during the procedure and I also wish I would've been asked how bad the pain was instead of just adding notes that I tolerated the pain well. It was absolutely awful and I'll never do it again.
