When you ask the questions about the provider, are you meaning the Dr or the Wellstar System? Dr Weddington is a very good Dr and takes the time to explain your care. The systems Wellstar uses are difficult, redundant and self serving. You want your money. With in less than 24 hours of my appointment, your systems reached out to me 3 times via email or text. All asking for money. Was called the morning before by a staffer who told me I had scheduled the wrong appointment. I asked why and was told I needed a 30 minute appointment as opposed to a 15 minute appointment. She question the reason for my visit. I said a check up. She was insistent and wanted me to reschedule. When I said I didn't understand why, and that I would prefer to keep my appointment as I am a busy business owner asking why is this so difficult? She hung up on me. Not a good look. As I live out of town, but work here and choose Dr Weddington, my schedule matters as well. It seems there is a priority on getting paid. 8 years ago or so, I had an emergency visit at Kennestone with a serious infection. As I was being treated in the emergency bed by the attending, getting cut open to my great discomfort, an employee entered the space wanting to know how the hospital was going to be paid? There seems to be a theme here... I get it that businesses need to be paid but when it overshadows the message of providing quality care, something is lopsided. Wonderful marketing messages adorn the facility on Roswell Rd. Time to take those messages to heart about patient care and put them into practice. Perception is reality and my perception is money and protecting your company legally are the more visible messages your staff and systems convey. On a positive note, I do like many of the staff and find them wonderful. My chart works very well and to that end it gives me what I need. Thank you

I was very impressed with the doctor. He was very kind and I appreciated my ride. I got the time mixed up so I was late and I had called and told him. But when I got there, of course, I had to use someone else that I had never met before. But I liked him very much. I just wish I knew how to because I like the PAs. I like all of them and they're very knowledgeable. But sometimes you need to see the doctor. And it seems like lately there are just not enough doctors. It seems like you've got to wait three or four weeks to make an appointment and it's a problem. So anyway, I just don't know what to say because I don't think there's a lot you can do about it. But anyway, I was very pleased and he was very kind and I was so thankful

My provider is always very attentive as soon as he enters the room. He allows me to ask him any questions regarding my care and medications he prescribes for me. Furthermore, he schedules all my routine labs.
