Laurie Lammert, MD

I want to start by saying that my doctor and the front desk staff were wonderful. They were friendly, professional, and made me feel welcomed. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff in the back was very disappointing. They were loud and openly speaking negatively about another co-worker in an area where patients could clearly hear the conversation. I do not believe those types of discussions should ever take place in front of patients. This is also not the first time I have witnessed this kind of behavior at this location. If staff members have concerns about workplace issues, those conversations should be saved for a private setting after patients have left the area. The second issue that left me upset occurred in the lab. My doctor sent me for blood work and instructed me to let the lab know that I also had lab orders from another Wellstar physician that needed to be completed. After waiting 20-30 minutes, I was informed that they could only draw blood for physicians at that specific location and could not complete the additional Wellstar orders. While I understand that policies can change, what bothered me most was how the situation was handled. The lab technician was preparing to draw my blood when another employee yelled across the room that they could not draw blood for orders from another location. The employee never explained the policy and came across as rude and dismissive. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience, even after I explained that my doctor had specifically instructed me to have all of my Wellstar lab work completed during the same visit. A simple explanation delivered with courtesy and empathy would have made a significant difference. I have been a Wellstar patient for many years, and it is disappointing to see the level of customer service decline over time. Professionalism, respectful communication, and compassion are just as important as providing quality medical care. I believe additional customer service and professionalism training would greatly benefit many of the employees at this location.

Her insight on how to care for me exceeds any care Ive ever received from a physician. This provider called me on the way to my appointment to see if I wanted to reschedule. Then i was ask again at my appointment after i had paid my co payment if I wanted to reschedule. I explained that i needed my annual check up. I felt rushed at this appointment. It felt like they were trying to avoid seeing me for some odd reason. Not to mention they had left a couple messages a few days ago prior on my phone to see if I'd like to reschedule. I have never heard of such. It felt unprofessional.

Lab staff was apologetic but it was frustrating to have that long of a wait. I arrived for my 9am appointment at 8:30. Was seen by Dr Lammert at promptly at 9am but then did not get out of lab until 10:50.

A simple explanation delivered with courtesy and empathy would have made a significant difference. I believe additional customer service and professionalism training would greatly benefit many of the employees at this location.

Every staff member I encountered was friendly, kind and professional. Fortunately they had 3 lab technicians drawing blood so I didn't have to wait long to have my blood drawn. Dr. Lammert and her team are great !

Although visit with Dr Lammert was exceptionally easy and thorough as usual, I did have to wait over an hour to have lab work done. Lab staff was apologetic but it was frustrating to have that long of a wait. I arrived for my 9am appointment at 8:30. Was seen by Dr Lammert at promptly at 9am but then did not get out of lab until 10:50.

Dr. Lammert is a great physician. The nurse's assistant was a little bit rushed and a little bit new, I guess. But I've been with Dr. Lammert for years and she's gone through the nurses who check you in and this is the newer one of all of those.

This provider called me on the way to my appointment to see if I wanted to reschedule. Then i was ask again at my appointment after i had paid my co payment if I wanted to reschedule. I explained that i needed my annual check up. I felt rushed at this appointment. It felt like they were trying to avoid seeing me for some odd reason. Not to mention they had left a couple messages a few days ago prior on my phone to see if I'd like to reschedule. I have never heard of such. It felt unprofessional.

Yes, this office, everyone who works there was very nice and they always have been every time I've been and I really like Dr. Lammert. I was just very sorry to hear that she is going to be leaving the practice and going to do something else with WellStar. I wish that she was not going to be leaving and I will miss her. She's always given me such good care and been so kind.

I want to start by saying that my doctor and the front desk staff were wonderful. They were friendly, professional, and made me feel welcomed. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff in the back was very disappointing. They were loud and openly speaking negatively about another co-worker in an area where patients could clearly hear the conversation. I do not believe those types of discussions should ever take place in front of patients. This is also not the first time I have witnessed this kind of behavior at this location. If staff members have concerns about workplace issues, those conversations should be saved for a private setting after patients have left the area. The second issue that left me upset occurred in the lab. My doctor sent me for blood work and instructed me to let the lab know that I also had lab orders from another Wellstar physician that needed to be completed. After waiting 20-30 minutes, I was informed that they could only draw blood for physicians at that specific location and could not complete the additional Wellstar orders. While I understand that policies can change, what bothered me most was how the situation was handled. The lab technician was preparing to draw my blood when another employee yelled across the room that they could not draw blood for orders from another location. The employee never explained the policy and came across as rude and dismissive. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience, even after I explained that my doctor had specifically instructed me to have all of my Wellstar lab work completed during the same visit. A simple explanation delivered with courtesy and empathy would have made a significant difference. I have been a Wellstar patient for many years, and it is disappointing to see the level of customer service decline over time. Professionalism, respectful communication, and compassion are just as important as providing quality medical care. I believe additional customer service and professionalism training would greatly benefit many of the employees at this location.
