The last time that I had an appointment at the same facility, my appointment was at 9 am and I was there by 8:30 and I swear I didn't leave until 1:15 !! Talk about upset!! And the only reason that I got out then was because I lost my patience! I had a cardiologist appointment at 1:30 across 15 th street!! There was absolutely no excuse for such a day! And I was one of 12 who had played waiting room hopscotch since 8:30 in the morning!! All of us seniors!! If there is going to be a serious delay, patients deserve to know and be assigned to another doctor or asked to reschedule!! We are human beings with a life as well! Some of us drive 40 minutes or more to be there and we schedule our appointments sometimes on the same day 3 to 4 hours apart so we don't have to drive into town multiple times per week! This appointment, I was shown to the waiting room I was there no longer than 10 minutes before I was taken by a very nice lady who dilated my eyes and checked the pressure! Back to the waiting room for 20 more minutes then in to see the Doctor!! Very nice man, his intern as well! He talked to me and explained in words that I could understand!! And I left there a hour and 49 minutes after I got there!! All I can add is thank you???

Hello, just wanted to give some feedback of my latest appointment on July 30th. It took me a while to get this appointment actually, so I was feeling a little down in that regard. I didn't know what to expect. But the care that I was given and provided, I feel like it was top tier. They definitely explained the reason why my appointments were canceled and set back and things like that, made me feel very comfortable with the treatment that I was undergoing at the time and very comfortable when I asked questions and received answers to those questions. So I was very satisfied with this appointment, very glad that I did not have to miss it and was able to make it and they dealt with me appropriately.

I sure hope Wellstar recognizes his value and provides the eye department the suppport they need to provide high quality services. My one constructive comment is it is crazy the staff cannot make an appointment beyond six months when you see the eye doctor annually.

The last time that I had an appointment at the same facility, my appointment was at 9 am and I was there by 8:30 and I swear I didn't leave until 1:15 !! Talk about upset!! And the only reason that I got out then was because I lost my patience! I had a cardiologist appointment at 1:30 across 15 th street!! There was absolutely no excuse for such a day! And I was one of 12 who had played waiting room hopscotch since 8:30 in the morning!! All of us seniors!! If there is going to be a serious delay, patients deserve to know and be assigned to another doctor or asked to reschedule!! We are human beings with a life as well! Some of us drive 40 minutes or more to be there and we schedule our appointments sometimes on the same day 3 to 4 hours apart so we don't have to drive into town multiple times per week! This appointment, I was shown to the waiting room I was there no longer than 10 minutes before I was taken by a very nice lady who dilated my eyes and checked the pressure! Back to the waiting room for 20 more minutes then in to see the Doctor!! Very nice man, his intern as well! He talked to me and explained in words that I could understand!! And I left there a hour and 49 minutes after I got there!! All I can add is thank you???

We are glad we were referred to Wellstar years ago!!! It was AU Vision Center at that time!!

I am switching all my eye care to Dr. Ulrich. I have been very impressed with his understanding of my different eye problems. Takes his time to review everything with me. Explains in detail so that I can understand.
