By far the worst experience I've had with a provider at Wellstar. Didn't introduce himself upon entering. Didn't explain medication plan. I had to ask if he was diagnosed with pink eye or not because he didn't specifically say it...

I count on WellStar to keep my MyChart records up to date but there were no notes as to the reason for the visit, as well as no after visit instructions. This was very important because they couldn't print out instructions either. This really disappointed me this visit.

I called to follow up today (2days later) called 2 times starting at 9:10 am and it's 6:18pm and haven't received a call back. I don't respond well to the medicine so was trying to get something else called in before I traveled. Disappointing.

I am very upset about our experience. During our visit the Dr. proceeded to tell us all the things that the prior Dr who put our sons stitches in did wrong, then went on to say "you should have come here." I informed him the urgent care at that very location was the first place we went, you all had us pay to then be sent away to the ER instead. So we did go there and no one helped us. He swabbed my sons leg and gave me zero indication of when I would get the test results back. This occurred on a Friday morning. We went to the pediatrician the following Tuesday since his leg was not improving at the rate we thought it should. We had still not received a follow up call or test results. Our pediatrician was able to access the results, letting us know our son was not on the right meds. She prescribed something new. We finally got a call from the urgent care doctor we saw that day at almost 5 pm. He asked how my son was, but at no point said anything about his tests coming in. He seemed more concerned with the fact that I took my son to a pediatric doctor not associated with Wellstar. He asked me which medicine the pediatric dr prescribed. When I told him which one he kept saying well that is not what I would put him on. When I specifically asked which one he would have used so I could ask my pediatrician about it he would not tell me. He just said well go to your follow up. I felt very dismissed the moment he learned we did not go to another Wellstar facility. Our whole experience with both the Wellstar urgent care and ER has been horrific. The ER provided terrible care which resulted in my sons stitches dissolving to soon and his knee becoming severely infected. WHO puts dissolvable stitches in a 9 year olds knee!! But please by all means just keep sending me bills. I will never bring my children back to a wellstar location if its in my ability.

And they've always been so great that they are at this facility. They treat you with such respect and compassion and just very efficient. And their treatments are really top scale. And I really appreciate that, especially when it comes to my kid. I mean, my kid had a sore throat and they did a gargle to numb the throat. And that just means so much to me. Because the doctors have never done that in the past. And it just, it really means a lot. And helped her get the steroids up or get over it because she had an eventful homecoming weekend. And so that really meant a lot to me.

The Dr did not give his name or who he was upon entrance to the room. He also did not say whether or not all my tests were negative or not. So I had to assume he was the Dr or PA, and that the tests were negative. He seemed in a hurry. He had very poor bedside manner. The nurse was wonderful. She was thoughtful and listened. She did not seem in a hurry or overwhelmed. Overall my experience was good. But has been better previously with other providers.

This was my first experience at this Wellstar Urgent Care. I use Kennestone Hospital if I need a hospital & am thoroughly flabbergasted at the difference between the other one I used to go to. I live in the middle between you & them. I have been trying to find all Wellstar facilities & doctors. I've found my new one.

I had a great experience. My only concern is the doctor was supposed to write down what creams what daughter needed but he forgot to so I asked the nurse if I could get the list of creams and she wasn't sure and didn't go ask the doctor what creams so we left without knowing exactly how to take care of her problem. But the staff was friendly.

Overall good visit. Provider was knowledgeable and provided clear instructions. Wait time to be seen was reasonable. Only glitch was immediate quick recheck of elevated blood pressure. Medical assistant should have waited a few minutes before rechecking. It was rechecked at the end of the visit and it was within normal limits.

The Dr did not give his name or who he was upon entrance to the room. He also did not say whether or not all my tests were negative or not. So I had to assume he was the Dr or PA, and that the tests were negative. He seemed in a hurry. He had very poor bedside manner. The nurse was wonderful. She was thoughtful and listened. She did not seem in a hurry or overwhelmed. Overall my experience was good. But has been better previously with other providers.

I didn't have to wait long before being seen & my issues were resolved in a timely matter. The nurses, doctor & lab tech were very nice & patient with me & it wasn't long before my test results came back. The Dr. wrote me a prescription & called it into my pharmacy & went over my discharge & treatment plan & then went home. It was a good experience from start to finish & will definitely recommend them to family & friends.

Overall good visit. Provider was knowledgeable and provided clear instructions. Wait time to be seen was reasonable. Only glitch was immediate quick recheck of elevated blood pressure. Medical assistant should have waited a few minutes before rechecking. It was rechecked at the end of the visit and it was within normal limits.

I had a great experience. My only concern is the doctor was supposed to write down what creams what daughter needed but he forgot to so I asked the nurse if I could get the list of creams and she wasn't sure and didn't go ask the doctor what creams so we left without knowing exactly how to take care of her problem. But the staff was friendly.

This was my first experience at this Wellstar Urgent Care. I use Kennestone Hospital if I need a hospital & am thoroughly flabbergasted at the difference between the other one I used to go to. I live in the middle between you & them. I have been trying to find all Wellstar facilities & doctors. I've found my new one.

The Dr did not give his name or who he was upon entrance to the room. He also did not say whether or not all my tests were negative or not. So I had to assume he was the Dr or PA, and that the tests were negative. He seemed in a hurry. He had very poor bedside manner. The nurse was wonderful. She was thoughtful and listened. She did not seem in a hurry or overwhelmed. Overall my experience was good. But has been better previously with other providers.

I called to follow up today (2days later) called 2 times starting at 9:10 am and it's 6:18pm and haven't received a call back. I don't respond well to the medicine so was trying to get something else called in before I traveled. Disappointing.

I count on WellStar to keep my MyChart records up to date but there were no notes as to the reason for the visit, as well as no after visit instructions. This was very important because they couldn't print out instructions either. This really disappointed me this visit.

I have three children and two of them are adults now, so we've had lots of urgent care visits. This was by far the best we have ever had. And they've always been so great that they are at this facility. They treat you with such respect and compassion and just very efficient. And their treatments are really top scale. And I really appreciate that, especially when it comes to my kid. I mean, my kid had a sore throat and they did a gargle to numb the throat. And that just means so much to me. Because the doctors have never done that in the past. And it just, it really means a lot. And helped her get the steroids up or get over it because she had an eventful homecoming weekend. And so that really meant a lot to me.

By far the worst experience I've had with a provider at Wellstar. Didn't introduce himself upon entering. Didn't explain medication plan. I had to ask if he was diagnosed with pink eye or not because he didn't specifically say it...

I am very upset about our experience. During our visit the Dr. proceeded to tell us all the things that the prior Dr who put our sons stitches in did wrong, then went on to say "you should have come here." I informed him the urgent care at that very location was the first place we went, you all had us pay to then be sent away to the ER instead. So we did go there and no one helped us. He swabbed my sons leg and gave me zero indication of when I would get the test results back. This occurred on a Friday morning. We went to the pediatrician the following Tuesday since his leg was not improving at the rate we thought it should. We had still not received a follow up call or test results. Our pediatrician was able to access the results, letting us know our son was not on the right meds. She prescribed something new. We finally got a call from the urgent care doctor we saw that day at almost 5 pm. He asked how my son was, but at no point said anything about his tests coming in. He seemed more concerned with the fact that I took my son to a pediatric doctor not associated with Wellstar. He asked me which medicine the pediatric dr prescribed. When I told him which one he kept saying well that is not what I would put him on. When I specifically asked which one he would have used so I could ask my pediatrician about it he would not tell me. He just said well go to your follow up. I felt very dismissed the moment he learned we did not go to another Wellstar facility. Our whole experience with both the Wellstar urgent care and ER has been horrific. The ER provided terrible care which resulted in my sons stitches dissolving to soon and his knee becoming severely infected. WHO puts dissolvable stitches in a 9 year olds knee!! But please by all means just keep sending me bills. I will never bring my children back to a wellstar location if its in my ability.
