As usual, we waited 11/2 hours for a 8 minute visit.

Wait times are excessive. I was asked to arrive by 12:45 PM for a 1 PM visual field assessment followed by a 2 PM appointment with Dr. Bollinger. I actually arrived at 12:35 PM because I was able to find a parking space much more quickly than usual. However, I sat until 1:15 before the visual field assessment. I also had retina images taken but I sat in the waiting area until about 2:15 until seen by a tech and had my eyes dilated. Then I sat for another half hour until taken to a room and seen by a resident. Then I waited for Dr. Bollinger and saw her about 3:25 and did not get out until about 3:30. The wait times at the eye clinic have always been long. Combine this with the 45 minute drive from where I live and there goes more than half a day for an eye exam. I plan to seek care from a different provider who is located closer to my home.

I appreciate the need for security. If a blind person such as I have an escort bringing me to receive health care, they should not need to check in as a visitor.

Our daughter was scheduled for a complete annual test and we were told that her test couldn't be done because there were too many people ahead of her after asking to speak with a manager. We were then told that she wasn't saying because the machine was broke and she had to be rescheduled for the following day for this particular test.
