My visits with AU Health and Dr. Bollinger's office has always been a positive experience since 2018 when I first started seeing her as a patient. The office staff was always professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. Sometimes I had questions about billing and they were able to answer those questions for me, as well as the general office atmosphere. Atmosphere very calm, very professional. Sometimes you had to wait, but not too often. Mostly in the afternoon, you had pretty much a longer waiting period. In regards to Dr. Bollinger, always received excellent care. She always was empathetic and listened to my concerns regarding my eye care. Just have nothing but kudos for her. I hate to see that she's leaving us, but overall my experience with AU Health.

Losing Dr. Bollinger to the VA is going to be a tremendous loss to the healthcare system.

While waiting to be seen by the doctor, a staff member spoke to a patient in a manner that seemed rude and demanding when asking him to turn down the volume on his device. The request was not made politely, and the interaction appeared disrespectful. Several people in the waiting area, including other patients and staff members, seemed uncomfortable with how the situation was handled. A courteous request, such as saying 'please,' would have been more appropriate and respectful.

Dr. Bollinger, Kathryn Bollinger and her staff gave me red carpet high level treatment and successfully performed two surgeries on me this year. I can now see again. I regret that you're losing Dr. Bollinger. You need to take whatever steps and measures are necessary to retain Dr. Bollinger and not let her go to the VA. We need her at WellSTAR. Sorry to lose her as my health care provider. She is the absolute best. Nobody can touch her nor beat her and ophthalmology is number one with me.

But I understand that she has to do what is best for her and the family. She will be missed very much. Said my goodbyes and told her it feels like a devorce in many ways. I only hope that my next experience will be as pleasant.
