We are wholeheartedly Devoted to this Neorology office for at least 10 years. They have consistently maintained their very high exacting standard of care for this entire length of time. Our only HUGE Complaint is with the Wellstar admin systems (NOT the employees) It improved when Wellstar 1st took over this practice, but is currently ABYSMAL!!!!!!! Our 6 month appts were rescheduled & it took over 4 months & a 45 minute drive To The Office to get them rescheduled!!!!!!!!!! The phone number Did Not Work for over a Month!!!!!!! We showed the front office when we visited in person to make the appt!!!! Literally One Month. The Portal was inopperative & Equally Maddening!!! Got to schedule, said call the office, call could not go through. Our pharmacy could not request refills, and the Portal, the office staff told us " oh, you can't request refills without an appt scheduled." Repeat loop indefinitely. Once we went In Person to the office, THEY took care of Everything for us. Our refills were even sent in. Please Tell SENIOR MGMT - that consolidating all systems in one place DOES NOT WORK as well as it might look on paper. Once you go to the expense, time & energy to consolidate, a bright young executive will propse individual regions are more efficient &the hellish, enormous expense begins again - hidden in financial statements IT, depreciation & deferred depressiation & corporate overhead. Costs are absorbed by increasing costs & improving sales figures. It's Madness to rely on one huge self contained dept & think it can remotely achieve the efficiency of regional offices. The failure lies with corporate not being able to adequately understand global system inefficiencies to improve costs. The madness is putting all eggs in one huge - extremely unreliable IT storage, software, ai & internet vulnerabilities. But what do I know....... I always get good treatment at that office. My only concern is that it's been a long time since I actually saw Dr. Holmes. I know that Kat, his PA, is highly qualified in her own right. I do, however, feel that optimum treatment would be to see Dr. Holmes himself more often.
