Dr. Kathy Empen received her bachelor degree in biology in 1987 from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Ill. She obtained her medical degree in 1991 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. Before joining the Wellstar, Dr. Empen was with East Cobb Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, P.C. in Marietta.

I waited for well over an hour after the appointment time before being seen by the provider. This is very inconvenient for parents who have to work or have other appointments. There is zero reason I should have been in the office for two hours for a well check. You can claim there were other patients back there being seen but there were a total of 4 cars in the parking lot when I got there. No reason 4 other patients should hold up an appointment for over 1.5 hours before being seen.
