The physician we had was excellent he explained things to me. He was very nice and very informative. Dr Jorge Rodriguez. There should be more Drs. Like him to care for people.

Dr. Jorge Rodriguez should not handle sports physicals. He signed the form stating my daughter was not medically cleared to try out for sports until seeing an ophthalmologist. As he was leaving the room, he wished her good luck at tryouts knowing he failed her. He could have put on the form she could try out with restrictions on seeing an eye doctor for corrective lenses. He also asked her to do a duck walk which he explained is something football players do (she plays softball) and she was unfamiliar with. He wrote on the form she couldn't easily do a duck walk. She had an eye exam done today, to correct her vision, so for him to make her medically ineligible was unnecessary and a waste of our time. We have been Wellstar patients over 20 years, but I will never visit Wellstar Urgent Care Vinings as long as he's a provider there.

I was prescribed 10 pills. Now that I am done the arthritis is flaring back up. The MD wrote to continue tramadol. I am not on tramadol. I take trazodone for sleep. I was great for about 4 days and now it's back. I am on a nursing travel contract looking for help.

The staff in the front was very unhelpful. I had three children with me and instead of just helping me check in, they directed me to the self-serve and then one of my children fell and they were talking amongst themselves, making smart comments about I knew it was going to happen. Well, if they had helped me and you know, like checked me in instead of forcing me to use the kiosk, I would have been able to focus on my three children that I had with me, one of which was sick. And once we got in the back, the doctor and the nurse were amazing. It's just unfortunate that the front staff was not.

He never even touched me. He came in the room trying to admit me to the hospital never tested me for I figured it was dehydration, but he had plans for me to go to the hospital. He claimed there was no test that he could give me to check for dehydration. If he's there I'm not ever coming back again. There are other places to go.

The staff were very professional and kind. They even called the next day to see how I was feeling. I missed the call but the extra effort went a long way in my book. I left another Urgent Care prior to coming here because I was the only one in the waiting room and I had an appointment. Nobody was attending to me. 3 staff members laughing in giggling in the rooms behind the waiting room having a great time. While I just sat there. I was all checked in, but I got up and left. So glad I did. Best thing I did all day.

The lady at the front desk was more into her phone than assisting patients. There were two elderly ladies at the kiosk and one needed help. The lady at the desk just watched her struggle and watch us (patients) try to assist the woman. After watching until the lady stumbled through the kiosk and complete it with our help, she then tells me that I can use the iPad after I'd already been there about 15 or more minutes. If they aren't going to help patients, why are they there? As a medical person myself, that was horrible service! Dr. Rodriguez and the guy that I believe was my nurse were WONDERFUL. Dr. Rodriguez was a breath of fresh air that's needed in the medical field. He was thorough, patient, and kind! I definitely needed that level of care and he provided it! Thank you Dr. Jorge O. Rodriguez!

I waited in the exam room after my vitals were done for 20 to 30 minutes then I received a text about contacting the virtual team to schedule the x-ray, which seemed odd that the staff didn't take care of that like they have in the past.

Everything was nice. Only thing I saw was the floor in rm i was in had dust, hair n was definitely not cleaned the night before. I was there at 850a. That should certainly not be a medical staff person problem that early in morning..

Dr Rodriguez or not was very unprofessional. I have been to this location on several occasions and he is the worst Doctor. That I have ever seen period at this location. I've seen there many time. He never even touched me. He came in the room trying to admit me to the hospital never tested me for I figured it was dehydration, but he had plans for me to go to the hospital. He claimed there was no test that he could give me to check for dehydration. If he's there I'm not ever coming back again. There are other places to go.

The staff in the front was very unhelpful. I had three children with me and instead of just helping me check in, they directed me to the self-serve and then one of my children fell and they were talking amongst themselves, making smart comments about I knew it was going to happen. Well, if they had helped me and you know, like checked me in instead of forcing me to use the kiosk, I would have been able to focus on my three children that I had with me, one of which was sick. And once we got in the back, the doctor and the nurse were amazing. It's just unfortunate that the front staff was not.

I was prescribed 10 pills. Now that I am done the arthritis is flaring back up. The MD wrote to continue tramadol. I am not on tramadol. I take trazodone for sleep. I was great for about 4 days and now it's back. I am on a nursing travel contract looking for help.

Dr. Jorge Rodriguez should not handle sports physicals. He signed the form stating my daughter was not medically cleared to try out for sports until seeing an ophthalmologist. As he was leaving the room, he wished her good luck at tryouts knowing he failed her. He could have put on the form she could try out with restrictions on seeing an eye doctor for corrective lenses. He also asked her to do a duck walk which he explained is something football players do (she plays softball) and she was unfamiliar with. He wrote on the form she couldn't easily do a duck walk. She had an eye exam done today, to correct her vision, so for him to make her medically ineligible was unnecessary and a waste of our time. We have been Wellstar patients over 20 years, but I will never visit Wellstar Urgent Care Vinings as long as he's a provider there.
