We're VERY Glad to have this Urgent Care in our neighborhood, however, would appreciate having a MEDICAL DOCTOR on site at some point. Why are there No medical doctors assigned to this facility in SE Atlanta? We just don't understand why there are never MD's here. The PA's are thorough and helpful and glad they are aboard and appreciate the good quality PA's we've had for the past 3 years.

The staff was great from the receptionist to the doctor and the other nurses and providers.. my only concern was that we had to wait an hour and 15 to 20 minutes because when I called we were not made aware of a lunch break and I missed my ride home which became a hassle but as far as my visit to the Urgent Care it was great all around excellent! I felt the provider did not use patient history nor exploratory questions in making his recommendations. He used the answer "sometimes" to one question without any exploratory questions to determine the most extreme course of action! How do you not ask any exploratory questions and immediately determine my son has to go to a cardiologist not even his primary care physician?!! I have brought my sons to the location for years and I will never return due to this last experience! This uninformed recommendation has negatively impacted my son's ability to participate in a season he is actively competing in as a Senior! He has never had any major health issues and has competed in sports year round the majority of his life. He does not have a history of heart issues nor does he have a family history of heart issues! The heart, lung and every other area on his physical was normal! Then the recommended Cardiologists does not having any immediate openings! I am beyond frustrated with this experience! I want my child to be healthy and safe. I do not think this recommendation was necessary nor accurate for him to deem my son ineligible to participate in sports until he sees a Cardiologist! This has never happened to either of my sons. I will not be returning and I hope the P.A gets additional training on completing sports physical and how his decision can negatively impact athletes. He needs to make sure he asked exploratory questions to provide evidence and solidify his recommendations as well as the appropriateness of referring to a specialist versus the primary care physician!
