I had difficulty in online booking appointment. Someone called me back She booked me for1:30 the same day and told me to go now. I did and they took me in quickly for a serious cat bite. They did blood work, took X-rays and infusion of antibiotics as well as a tetanus shot! I was released before 1:30. My appointment time!!! WOW!

My after visit paperwork states I was told what to expect but honestly I left with a lot of medication. Not many answers and no idea of a timeframe on when I might feel better. I have the same amount of issues and pain and am not sure if I should be concerned. The paperwork says to contact my provider in 2 days...or the emergency room. Just definitely felt I could have left with more understanding. I was unable to speak so couldn't communicate well to ask the simple question myself. What should I expect. I was rushed out so quickly I don't know that I would have had time to anyway.

x-ray showed no fracture but doctor did not pick up on seriousness of abrasion which about an hour later I had a terrible case of the chills. About an hour after that I fell into bed, vomited 4 or 5 times and slept about 12 to 13 hours. my daughter insisted on taking me to emergency as she thought I had cellulitis. I write this from a hospital bed being flooded with antibiotics and possibly will be spending Thanksgiving here.

I wanted to say everyone was so kind, respectful and thoughtful and did make sure I had what I needed. I came in on a cane and they offered to get me a wheelchair, even though I said it was OK, they noticed I was having difficulty and actually did need one, and offered to get me an ice pack too. Just so caring! Everyone I encountered, and I so appreciated it!!

But I went up and let them know and then they adjusted everything and got me back right away. So after that, service was fine, but it was just kind of a bummer to be told I was checked in and then I was, in fact, not checked in. Thank you for your service.
