It was very frustrating when my daughter was obviously in pain and we were basically told, Well, we can't do anything, you're going to need to go to the pediatrician in order to continue services with her. It was very frustrating because I was already there. I was already had waited for my appointment and it seems like they were trying to brush me off and not take care of my daughter. So that was very frustrating. I was able to talk to the practitioner and convince her to continue taking care of my daughter rather than pawning her off to the pediatrician.

First, I got there 15 minutes before my appointment time. The front staff was extremely nice and got me checked in quickly. And then I waited nearly an hour to see a provider. It was actually two hours from the time I walked in to the time I left your facility, which seemed a little excessive. The next thing is I had come for a strained back and shoulder and they looked at me like I was pill seeking. You can look in my records and see I never go to the doctor. There's nothing. I was looking for some kind of relief from the pain that I was in and I was told we don't give narcotics. I was like I didn't ask for narcotics. I wanted like some kind of a muscle relaxer and some answers as to why my hand feels like it's asleep and tingling.

Everyone was very nice because when I arrived, I didn't have an appointment because I had called the call center and was told they didn't have any more appointments available, but she told me I could go and be a walk in. When I arrived, they tried to turn me away because they had no openings. I explained what I was told and that I would be seen no matter what as long as I was there before closing. I called the number and the front staff heard what they were telling people. They got on the phone with a manger, and she was able to open a slot to allow me to be seen. It was a learning curve for them on how to let the call center know when they have reached capacity and I was still able to be seen and get the medicines I needed to start feeling better. I cannot stress enough how kind and understanding everyone was because they could clearly see I didn't feel well and that I had passed multiple other urgent cares to get to this one as it was closest to my home. The others would have had me backtracking and possible not seen until the next day. Thank you for seeing me!!!

The provider took very good care of my mother. She came in with a low oxygen rate and she was very concerned. The nurses were very concerned and they were over the top and it was great. My experience at urgent care was wonderful! From the greeting when I entered until the receptionist sent me off with a smile and good wishes! I felt very cared for by all staff I came in contact with, and my doctor was very well informed! She listened intently and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend her! I would like to note something about a different facility. I was unable to get an appointment with my general practitioner at Wellstar on Cedarcrest Rd. I wish the facility had more accessibility when you are an established patient. Again, I could not have asked for a better experience today at Dallas Wellstar Urgent Care!!
