Everybody was so nice! I've always been anxious in medical settings AND this was my first time going to a doctor without my parents. They were super accommodating, answered all my questions, and I was extremely satisfied with my care :)

My provider, Jade Lam, was great and addressed my concerns appropriately. However, I felt that the nurse taking my vitals did not fully understand my request to use a larger cuff for accurate blood pressure measurement, as I naturally have larger arms. I also felt embarrassed when, immediately after making that request, I was asked if I had blood pressure problems while simply advocating for myself. Additionally, my heart rate was elevated from walking in the heat, and I felt rushed to bring it down rather than being allowed time for it to return to normal."
