I felt like the front staff, the receptionists, they were real respectable and really nice and very concerned about my child's problem, but I felt like the nurse practitioner needs better bedside manner. It seemed like I was being rushed.

Everyone was very friendly, paid attention to my needs, and what I was saying, did a good job explaining to me what the next steps were.

I would suggest that when the front desk people are giving you estimate wait time that it be more accurate. I was told one hour wait. I waited three hours, saw the provider, and they didn't have the equipment to test me. So then they sent me to the emergency room where I had to wait another five hours. So eight hours in my day to be diagnosed with what was wrong with me. So I would recommend that the front desk be more accurate. And also, I understand that you can make appointments online. I never understood or even knew that you can make appointments online to go to an urgent care. I communicated when I walked in I was in tremendous amount of pain, that I was hurting and that wasn't any significant. So they took the people who walked in and looked like they had nothing wrong with me.

The numbing procedure was not followed properly for my child's stitches which resulted in serious pain and trauma in addition to her injury.

On desk, the receptionist was excellent. Her name was Stacy. She treated us very, very nicely, everyone in the waiting room. And the staff and the doctors, so I got a physician, a physician assistant. They were very, very observant and concerned. They listened well, and I enjoyed the service that I got there. Very grateful.

They gave me a prescription, but they did not tell me how many days I'm supposed to take it, and the pharmacy said it wasn't indicated. It just said instill three drops three times a day, but it did not say for how long.

The doctor I saw at Wellstar Urgent care at Acworth Health Park was hands down 1 of the best! He was very attentive, knew I'd need pain meds, started an IV instantly, asked all the right questions, and even empathized with me and what I was dealing with even tho they couldn't treat me and I had to leave in an ambulance to the emergency room he still continued treating me up until the minute they arrived to put me on the stretcher!

The only problem we had was that the PA told us my daughter would have an xray and then about 40 minutes later the nurse came in asking if she had it already. When I said no, she asked if I called to register her. I was never told that I had to call a number until then so we were waiting that long for nothing. They should be sure to let people know that they need to call before x ray will come.
