Okay, I went to the WellCare in Augusta, Georgia, at the Medical River, Georgia. We told the girls to file VA. The VA from all the rest of our doctors had sent us up there. We got him back and we told the girls to file VA insurance. Second was welcome, which is Medicare. She didn't even file a VA. She filed Medicare only.

I waited in the room far too long by myself. When I came out of the room, I saw the doctor chit-chatting with another employee in the hallway. And it wasn't until they heard me tell my wife, do you want to just leave, did they give me any attention, and they immediately attended to me then. But before that, it was almost like I wasn't there.

I was sent multiple texts and emails to confirm my appointment and a link to fill out paperwork prior to my visit. I was also sent an email 45 minutes before my appointment asking if I had arrived yet. All that "prep" and I still waited over a hour to have the technician take me to a room and almost an hour more to see the Dr. The technician touched my face/eye with no gloves on and did not sanitize her hands that I saw. The Dr seemed bothered that I was there due to my symptoms being almost cleared up due to the length of time between my initial visit with my primary and getting the eye appointment. The staff both at the front desk and in the back was too busy joking and carrying on instead of getting patients through.

The front desk receptionist wasn't polite at all soon as I walked in she asked me what was my name instead of saying good morning and on top of that my appointment was at 8:30 they told me to arrive at 8:15 which I did I sat in the waiting room until 8:30 my appointment time, when I goes to the back after seeing one nurse and she got finished with me I had to sit there for over 30 mins to see the eye doctor specialist I think that was entirely to long to sit before she came in the room. I think it can be a lot better with the time waiting.
