Heidi Chun, MD

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with Wellstar. I have been a Wellstar patient for almost 20 years, and my previous primary care physicians were always caring and kind. This physician seemed annoyed whenever I interrupted to ask questions. She made me feel bad for bringing up my concerns and appeared irritated by them. I don't mind a physician who is straightforward or direct, but those qualities can be delivered in a much kinder and more compassionate way. She lacked empathy and compassion. When I told her I was having a new issue with my SI (sacroiliac) joint, she barely examined me or addressed my concerns. She abruptly ended the visit, handed me my visit summary without saying anything, and walked away. I left the office in shock and disbelief over what I had just experienced. It truly ruined the rest of my day. The office staff were very nice.

She is an amazing, authentic, physician. She focuses on the best treatment and I appreciate her bedside manner & knowledge and professionalism.
