Being referred to hematology can feel terrifying but, each member of the care team made a conscious effort to make me feel comfortable and safe. Too often patients feel rushed and not heard. Really like Dr Liu a lot. The person who did my vital signs asked numerous questions and several had to do with safety in my home. I do feel safe and my husband is not abusive but if he was, I certainly would not say so with him sitting there. Maybe these questions could somehow be asked with out anyone being with the patient at the time. To ensure you are getting honest answers

The entire process was seamless. From the time my husband and I entered the building we were greeted with a kind reception. And then when Felicity came to get us a direct us to the floor for the actual exam. She offered us snacks and/or water as we would be scheduled to wait for my turn. She was such a pleasant person and so were the other two ladies who we encountered for stats and blood work. But I was definitely pleased that I was assigned to Dr. Fang Liu.she was professional, courteous and a great listener. She also called me today to review the results of the blood tests. I truly do appreciate that I will be seeing her for my scheduled appointments. Congratulations for the staff that was in place for my initial visit.
